The Cottage is a loungy den, perfect for city folk seeking to unwind & recharge. Surrounded by natural beauty, our solar powered home features wood finishes, beamed ceilings and an exposed brick hearth with a wood burning stove. It's decorated with pops of bright color and items collected from our travels around the world. Watch a movie, nap in the hammock and relax in the soaking tub under the skylights. Explore the 4 acres, enjoy s'mores by the creek or stroll to Tivoli for excellent farm-to-table meals and drinks. *Our home shares the property with our Barn: www.airbnb.com/h/thebarnintivoli

We welcome you to our home!

Our property is centrally located in the beautiful, historic landscape of The Hudson River Valley, around 100 miles from New York City.

Depending on how you want to spend your days here, you can choose between driving or taking the scenic train ride up the Hudson River to the tiny & beautiful Amtrak Rhinecliff Train Station.

Tivoli's shops & restaurants are an easy, 5 minute walk.

Our home features modern-bohemian decor with many items collected during travels around the world, in flea markets, at our grandmas' homes and in nature. Other items we have personally designed and handcrafted.

In the cold months you'll experience the warmth that comes from having radiant floors. Both bedrooms and main bathroom have baseboard heaters. You also have the option of firing up the wood burning stove and enjoying the extra heat from the fire.

In the Summer, the house cools with 3 AC units; one in each bedroom and one in the living room.

If you are coming with kids, they'll love exploring the creek, watching all the animals that visit often and having a picnic by the pond or playing in the snow.

There are also many things to do with kids in the surrounding area; pick-your-own farms, a playground and a library in Tivoli where they can meet the local kids, swimming at lake Taconic, riding horses...

We provide all guests with a long list of our favorite restaurants, hikes & sights.
