Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Tom was a great host,
He was waiting for us on Sunday night for a late check-in. He provided a new antenna because we had trouble with the TV.
The apartment itself was nice, next to restaurants, supermarket and subway. Because of roadworks on the street it was sometimes a bit noisy. The only thing quite strange was the sound that the radiators produced from time to time. Except these two little things, we had a great time in NY. Central Park under the snow was wonderful. Thank you again Tom.

  • Tom was awesome. I would recommend this guy to all my friends. This apartment was so so nice and clean! It made our NY stay the best (even in the freezing cold). Tom, I will be returning to your apartment every time I visit NY. Also, Thank you for the beer and chocolate!

  • I didn't have the opportunity to meet Tom. Our only communication was via email & text, but he was quick to respond to all my inquiries. I ended up being late to pick up the keys, and Tom had other plans, so I wasn't able to meet him, but he was able to leave the keys with an acquaintance from whom I was able to get the keys, so Tom was incredibly flexible to my situation - a big plus! The unit was nice, clean, & spacious for a one bedroom in NYC. The neighborhood is nice, with a lot of bars and restaurants nearby. It's a short walk to the subway, so it's very convenient to get to most areas of NYC. Not Tom's fault, but the biggest issue I had with the apartment was that it's a street-side unit on the first level of the apt building, so it could be noisy at night and early morning with the foot traffic and nearby construction. Overall, a great, well-priced apt to explore NYC.

  • This was my first experience in AIRBNB, and I'm really very very happy!!! Tom´s appartment was as expected! Very comfortable, close to the subway and it has all the amenities I needed. I really recommend this place!!! Thank you Tom for the help and flexibility chek-in!

  • We enjoyed staying in this apt. It is very comfortable, equiped and cozy ( only the toilets are a little too dense) The 6 train is 2 blocks from the apt. and the erea is quiet usualy (during our stay there were constructions on the building across the street which started at 0700 but since we were out most of the day it didn't realu bother us. Tom was nice and ready to help even though we didn't meet him. All and all we were vry pleased.

  • First , I should start by saying – I’m a bit of a germ-a-phobe.

Toms place was very small, not comfortable, and felt grimey, in fact we bought plastic bowls, cups and utensils.

This apartment is right on ground level, and although we felt very safe, you could hear absolutely everything, as clear as if they were driving through the bedroom.

The bed was very uncomfortable! I slept with socks on tucked into my pants, and we purchased our own pillow cases to feel more comfortable.

Also, the sofa in the living room was not comfortable, and I think my husband got a rash from it!

The bathroom was another story; we did NOT wear bare feet in there! And the toilette is literally under the bathroom sink.

The location was pretty good, close to a starbucks, and close to a subway station.

This place would be OK with anyone who is not too picky about grimeyness/sanitation. We kept telling ourselves that we won’t spend much time in the space anyways.

We will definitely come back to NYC, and we would use Airbnb again – but we would make a special effort to find a nicer, cleaner and more comfortable space.

  • nice and cozy place. Close to everything, tom was easy to communicate with. Highly recommended for anybody who wishes to plan a visit in upper east Manhattan. Only downside is there's construction site across the street and it can be very noisy at times, but its like that all over new york.

  • Gràcies Tom per tot.
Hem estat a l'apartament del Tom el meu marit i el meu bebe durant 10 díes i hem estat molt be. Tot esta tal com apareix a les fotos i si tens qualsevol problema sempre pots comptar amb ell.
    Ho recomano a tothom.
    Thanks Tom for everything.
We have been in the apartment of my husband and my baby for 10 days and we have been very good. Everything is as it appears in the photos and if you have any problems you can always count on him.
    I recommend it to everyone.

  • Tom's apartment was everything we needed for a comfortable stay in New York. Traffic was fairly light in the street due to it being partially blocked while construction is happening over the road. Noise wasn't a problem apart from a few loud pedestrians - the public holiday meant no construction work! We found the subway convenient and supermarket and eateries were also close by.
