Gary, the host, made us feel very welcomed when we arrived at the house. The house looked exactly like it did in the pictures. We shared the house with two other families while our sons played baseball at Oneanta's All Star Village. Everyone was satisfied with the room and amenities. The drive from the house to the park was 22 minutes long.

First off, Gary's response was top notch. Always responded quickly and with all the information I had requested. Gary met us at the house on arrival and showed us around. He also provided us with information on the surrounding area and recommendations. The house was fully furnished and updated. Large property great for relaxing. Thanks again for a fantastic stay.

Gary left the house open for us, welcomed us in person the next day, set up games and a volleyball net for the young people, and left us a gift basket with well chosen Italian wine. The historic 1795 house is beautifully furnished in mid century modern style, and the kitchen, grill and outdoor space allowed us to host out baseball team and families (40 or so) for two evenings (they begged to return after the first time). Perfect for two families with kids, and worlds better than the overpriced Oneonta hotels where everyone else was staying. Day trips to Cooperstown and Delhi are easy, but staying at home is even better. Fast internet and game room were hits with the kids and teenagers. This is an exceptional property -- better than our recent Paris and New Mexico listings. A hidden gem.

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Gary's beautiful home. The house is spacious, clean, comfortable and we loved the decor. The pictures don't begin to do it justice. There were 7 of us staying and we all had plenty of room to spread out, and to be together. The view from the house is amazing, even better are the walks we took through the fields to the creek and the pond. I wish we had had time to explore some more. My son had a great time at the pond, paddling in the paddle boat and fishing - he even caught some catfish. We were in the area for All-Star Village in Oneonta. The house is about 20-25 minutes away from the baseball fields. It's a beautiful drive along country roads. Gary was a terrific host - helpful and accommodating. We highly recommend his house and hope that we can return one day.

Gary's attention to detail and design made for a great stay during my cousin's wedding. We enjoyed the peace and serenity of the home as well as it's ability to gather and enjoy one another company. The surrounding property was gorgeous and we wish we had spent more time exploring. At night you were lulled to sleep by the peaceful sound of the flowing creek. By day you could enjoy the outdoors or the various gathering areas in the home. The reading nook took away any excuses to not read that book you bought six months ago! Definitely worth the stay!

Lovely house, gracious host, and beautiful surroundings made this a perfect place for a "girls'" (5 college friends) getaway. Gary's house is well equipped with everything you need both inside and outside and since the weather was gorgeous we were able to enjoy both. Thank you Gary for a wonderful stay.

Gary was the best host you could ask for - he was very responsive and helpful both before we arrived and when we were at the house. The welcome basket was also a very nice touch. The home was also very beautifully decorated and his property is also much bigger than I could have ever imagined - there is an unbelievable amount of space for you to run around in. Thanks Gary for a wonderful stay!
