I love to travel, to read non-fiction, and to plan events! My husband and I have a Guest House (B&B we don't live in) and are enjoying meeting new friends and fellow travelers. Most of my travel is within the US, but I have been to India and Europe and loved it! I am employed in the Economic Development and Tourism industry and enjoy spending time with my family.
I have a little black Scotty named Mamie; can't function without coffee; am a big fan of wine by the firepit; and enjoy my little Glamper ( a vintage 65 Shasta camper) that I have "glamped up".
My current passion is developing a Community Maker Space with 3D printers and other equipment. My life motto: "The best way to predict the future is to invent it." -- Alan Kay

During your stay
We always try to be on site when our guests arrive to give them a tour of the house and make sure that all of their questions are answered. We try not to hover...but are always right across the street (and only a phone call away) should they need anything. If for some reason we will not be on hand...we will let them know in advance.
We do have a little Scott Terrier, Mamie (named after Mamie Eisenhower) who lives with us across the street. She has been known to bark....but will not come over without us.
There are always fresh eggs in the fridge from our neighbors...and you are welcome to our garden fresh goodies in season. (Gary is the one with the green thumb.)
