Designed in the unique Santa Fe style architecture, Casa de Los Sueños (House of Dreams) has a very special ambiance. Your romantic and private one bedroom casita is perfect for a couple's weekend getaway, but with all the activity options of the Central Coast and amenities of home, it would be even better for longer stays!
At Casa de Los Sueños you'll find a comfy queen bed with fresh quality linens, ample towels, double basin sinks, stocked with the basics like soaps, shampoo/conditioner, hairdryer, even a washer and dryer...And Pete's Coffee for your first few days with us! The Central Coast has very moderate weather year round, with the exception of a few days per year, but just in case they occur during your visit you can enjoy a nice breeze from the bedroom and living room ceiling fans.
Feel free to grab our beach towels and picnic tote we've left for you to borrow, and head to the beach or some of our country road wineries for a day of leisurely exploration. Plan a visit to one of our many Farmer's Markets and prepare a delicious meal in your fully equipped kitchen (full-size fridge, stove-top, convection oven, dishwasher), or grill some fresh caught fish out on your secluded deck as you sip some Edna Valley wine.
After a day of taking in our beaches, trails, and wineries, unwind in front of the fireplace, catch a little satellite TV on one of the two flat screens (living room and bedroom), or use the WiFi and surf the internet looking for current local events for tomorrow's adventure. (WiFi password details are in your Welcome Book)
We've tried to be as eco-friendly as possible, both with design and lifestyle, so you will notice shaded terraces and decks to keep the house cool, drought resistant landscape, solar energy, bamboo flooring in kitchen and living room, etc. Since California is in a drought, please help us to minimize water use.
You will have full use of the casita, its completely private deck, and bbq. There is designated parking for one car right next to the casita (please let us know if you require 2 spots). In addition to the deck, there is a sitting area in front of the casita AND coming in June, a new guest courtyard for your enjoyment - pictures coming soon!
The area beyond the gate between the main house and the casita are off limits to guests in order to keep our dogs safe. We need the gate to always be closed and latched, as they have free reign in this area.
Interaction with guests
We live on the 3 acre property, in the main house. We keep busy schedules, but will make every effort to greet you when you arrive. In the event that is not possible (especially for late check-ins), we will prearrange the details via email and make sure you have access, (and you can reach us on our cell phones).
Should you like privacy and seclusion, we are happy to oblige (the casita is perfect for this), but if you prefer more interaction, we are happy to tell you about the highlights of the area and make suggestions on where to eat and what to do, perhaps over a glass of wine!

We are lovers of people, travel and adventure, and although we travel the world extensively, we feel there is no better place to call home than California's beautiful Central Coast.
With the abundance of local activities, you are likely to spot us out hiking, kayaking, at a yoga class, music event or wine tasting in Edna Valley or Paso Robles. We also enjoy history and exploring archaeological sites, road trips in our trailer, river rafting, canyoneering and rappelling.
We love sharing our special haven, tucked back on 3 acres that Frank lovingly tends to, and are here to help make sure your stay in the San Luis Obispo area is both relaxing, and eventful. If you have a question about the area we can point you in the right direction ensuring the best possible experiences.
5 things we love best when we travel are a clean dwelling, comfy bed, luxurious linens, good coffee, and a helpful host...we're betting that you do too!
