Steve's communication was great. The instructions are crystal clear and allow you to come and go with total privacy. I didn't see Steve, but found everything as expected. Big, clean and comfortable bed and wardrobe space in the the bedroom. Shower that works perfectly in a smart bathroom. All good and important for me. Thanks Steve!
Wished that clearer instructions would have been given on how to get there as I could have saved a lot of time. Here's my version of the directions which I took and recommend.
- Arrival at Terminal 5, I took the Heathrow Express to Terminal 4, where I got off and later got on to a platform that is 'Heathrow Connect' to Southall. It connects from Terminal 1,2,3 line. It would only take you less than 6 mins to get to Southall once on the right train. (6 plus pounds)
- From Southall, use Oyster card to take bus E5 down to Featherstone Road (just 2nd stop away) (1.50 pounds?) - go online to check Live bus timings
- Walk to the apartment that is just opposite from Bally's Express (t get to use it at all. It was just the bedroom and bathroom for me. I thought it was probably a genuine mistake when Stephen forgot to tell me about the keysafe.
If you have a flight to catch, I would recommend staying here as it is so convenient from the Heathrow airport. But getting into town could cost you more overall as there are a lot of transfers.
Thanks for these. The instructions were emailed to you when you booked and were in the directions section of the listing that you used to find the address. There are annotated photos to make it clear and easier to read than lots of text. You said when you called that you'd forgotten to bring these, so I explained everything over the phone as best I could when you arrived, but it's much easier to explain with photos.
It's just one transfer to get to town if you take the train from Southall to Paddington then change to the bakerloo line to Oxford Circus or whichever line you need to get to where you're going. This was all explained in the directions section and in the information available in the room. A bus (E5) from Southall station isn't necessary as it's just as quick to walk (7 minutes).
Stephen was well-organised and even went the extra mile by making available a car space in the building's car park for my fully loaded car. Would recommend!
The room was very comfortable!
I slept in the king-size bed with my two friends, but we slept soundly.
botI recommend there. I'll sure come back!
Really beautiful room and apartment, very fresh, clean, organised and uncluttered, and most importantly relaxing. A superb way to land back in the UK with my partner. We had everything we needed. Very friendly and safe area, easy to find and access was carefully explained in regard to the key safe in particular.
