It’s located on the 3rd floor at The Appalachian Hotel at The Mountain Ski, bike and water park resort and has incredible mountain front views! As you enter the condo you will notice the views right away as well as the modern rustic theme throughout including our NEW gorgeous faux wood wall in the bedroom.

THE LOCATION:
Vernon Township is in Sussex County, New Jersey, USA. It is located about 1 hour from New York City and was established on April 8, 1793. Iron mining was prevalent during the mid-to-late 19th century. Mines such as Canister Mine, Williams Mine, and the Pochuck Mine created industry which spawned local businesses and brought rail travel to the town.
Today Vernon and the immediate area is an outdoor lover’s paradise. Here you will find a landscape consisting of residential and resort communities, farmland, apple orchards, pumpkin patches, bird watching, barns, horse farms and stables, lakes, fishing, and just so much natural beauty. The famous Appalachian Trail (AT) even runs through it! You will be amazed on what you will find only 1 hour outside of New York City.

We have one parking pass to hand out no matter the size of the condo. This is per the HOA rules and regulations.

CLEANING POLICIES:
Our cleaners are instructed to clean and sanitized between each guest. This includes all high touch areas like light switches and handles. We take our guests’ safety seriously. We offer a contactless check-in procedure featuring a digital lock and you will be provided with your own unique key code.

Guest agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless owners, occupants and agents free and clear of any liability for damage to self, members of guest's party or property, resulting from accident or injury, or loss of enjoyment, due to power outages, rain, sun, flood, storms, natural disasters, negligence, defective construction, fire, theft, inoperable appliance, equipment etc. We will take all possible steps to see that the house equipment is in working order.
As of March 2026, The Appalachian started a garage renovation project and also includes the small parking area up top. The garage will still be open during this project. In the months ahead, the community will also be upgrading several exterior surface areas, including the spaces behind the building near the pool, both entrances, and the areas surrounding the property along Route 94.
The pool area will remain open during your stay and the pool will be open.
Guest access
You are renting out the entire condo and have it all to yourself. You will have access to the hotel’s amenities: pool hot tubs sauna gym garage parking
Other things to note
We welcome responsible families or a group of responsible adults who are all 21 years of age or older. We don't allow partying. No pets. No smoking. Adults need to take responsibility for their children (example) the glass on the fireplace is hot to the touch. Don't let them touch it! We are not responsible if your child or anyone touches the glass and burns themselves. If you make a reservation you agree to all the above.
The door code for the rental will be the last 4 digits of the phone number you have on the booking site.
