About the Host, Anne Cecilie
My husband and I live in the countryside on a small Danish island called Funen. With horses, field and forest as closest neighbours we enjoy the nature very much in our everyday life. Although we live in the the countryside, our house is situated just 5 km from the highway, making it very easy to reach the main cities in Denmark (Copenhagen 180 km, Aarhus 130 km, Odense 30 km). We both work within creative environments - one of us as a musical drama teacher, the other as PA for one of the top Danish creative producers within the musical/theatre world. We also have active side careers as professional singers/entertainers and music/musical theatre and the joy this brings to most people is a vital part of both our professional and personal lives. Apart from this, we enjoy long walks in the countryside, growing our own vegetables all summer, going skiing during wintertime - and last, but certainly not least: travelling to all kinds of places and meeting all kinds of people!
