First and foremost, the apartment is just as beautiful as it is in the photos. It's spacious enough for two or three people, and you couldn't ask for a more wonderful neighborhood. It was sparkling clean, and we immediately felt right at home. We will 100% stay here on our future trips to Roma. However, there were some issues. Nothing major, just a few things worth noting should you opt to stay here. (You should!) First, only two towels are provided per person. One bath towel and one hand towel. This may be sufficient for a day or two stay, but if you plan on staying any longer than that, then I would recommend buying/bringing your own. (There are no laundry facilities, which is fine.) Only two toilet paper rolls were provided for the stay. Which, again, is fine for a night or two, but we were there for four nights. It wasn't quite enough to last the whole time. Lastly, the downstairs air conditioning unit had a horrible leak. It didn't effect the functioning of it at all, but there was an enormous puddle right in the front doorway as you walk into the apartment. We had to clean this up multiple times each day. Not a biggie, and we certainly aren't upset about it, but it's worth noting. It's a beautiful apartment that's quiet for the area. This means that you're in the heart of all the action, but can still sleep soundly at night. We felt very safe with the HEAVY outside door, and friendly doorman. It's a basement apartment but it's not lacking in light, and it's easily accessible. We were actually quite pleased that it was underground(ish) because it was much easier to keep cool, and was very comfortable. We LOVED staying here, and we will be absolutely thrilled to stay here again. Thank you so much, Marco!

The location was wonderful and the apartment was spacious. Marco was attentive with our questions before our arrival. However once we arrived we had to wait 25 minutes for the host's friend to let us in, despite having sent him our arrival time hours in advance and reconfirming again just 30 minutes before we arrived. Marco was a fairly hands-off host. There was no information about the area we were staying in available in the bnb, and we didn't hear a peep from him the entirety of our trip. Fine for us, maybe not for others. Finally, the AC was leaky. There were constantly puddles all over the lower level floor, even with the pot that was placed beneath the AC unit to catch the water.

The location is perfect! It's in the best part of Trastevere, right around the corner from the best bars, restaurants and cafe's! It's just a short 3-5min walk to the main road where you can catch the tram or bus anywhere or walk to all the sites! Marco provides toiletries (soap, shampoo) toilet paper, towels, etc. The bed was also very comfortable. The apartment does have central a/c but it takes a while to cool down. Also, there isn't an iron in the apartment so unless you're bringing your own I would recommend asking the doorman for the directions to the nearest laundry/dry cleaners. It's only a 5-7min walk from the apartment and the prices are extremely reasonable. Lastly, there also aren't any plug adapters (US to European). Luckily I brought my own so I was able to charge my devices.

The apartment is literally located in the heart of Trastevere. It is very easy to find and there is a number of bars and restaurants within a minute walking distance from it. The apartment itself is exactly as described. We found it to be clean and all appliances were working. The only downfall this apartment has is the stairs to the bed, I wouldn't recommend it for an older generation, as the stairs are rather steep, however this is only a minor thing for majority of people. The bed and sofa were very comfortable and also the bathroom was perfect. Even though the apartment is located in a buzzing area, we found it not to be too loud that we couldn't sleep. The restaurants and bars located here are absolutely fantastic, Grazia and Graziella being the highlight of our trip, Cajo & Gajo was also superb. We will definitely use this apartment again down the line and recommend it to friends

Marco's place is a perfect mix of modern and history. It is in a very lively neighborhood. Restaurants, cafes, and boutique shops are at your doorsteps. 5-10 minutes walk to main attractions. My two nights stay is memorable.
