Beautiful South Dublin city centre apartment available for this summer (1st June-1st Sept). Located beside St. Patrick's Cathedral, a mere 10 minute walk from St. Stephen's Green and Grafton Street, and 15 from Trinity College Dublin. The apt is suitable for 1-4 people. We have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and all mod. cons.
We live in the old heart of the city on a street dates back to at least the middle ages if not earlier. Our apartment new (less than six years old) and faces into a quiet courtyard. We have a sunny balcony It is located beside beautiful St. Patrick's Cathedral, and is less than 10 minutes from Christchurch Cathedral, Dublin Castle and the Chester Beatty Library. Trinity College is less than fifteen minutes by foot, and the South Dublin city centre is so close that we tend to do our grocery shopping on George's Street and St. Stephen's Green.
Entire apartment. Shared, landscaped courtyard.
I would be happy to meet when you arrive and show you the apartment.
It is a very old part of the city within the area which was once surrounded by the city walls. Patrick's Cathedral is just down the street. There are a lot of cafe's and restaurants nearby, and downstairs in the building there's a large cafe which makes great falafel. We have a convenience store downstairs which has most things you'll need and is open until 11pm. Our apartment faces into a quiet courtyard. The area is a mixture of old and new. Around the corner on Francis Street and also on Patrick's Street you will find lots of antique shops and some galleries. Temple bar is about 10 minutes away by foot. There are Saturday markets there and on the grounds of Christchurch Cathedral and Cows' Lane (well worth a visit for everything from Guinness and Oysters to organic food). Every restaurant in Dublin city centre is within walking distance and there is a lot of variety.
There is a bus stop outside with many different routes including to the two main train stations (Heuston and Connelly Station). The luas is walking distance - 10 minutes on foot to St. Stephen's Green for one line and 10-12 minutes to the Four Courts for the other. Taxis are always nearby and there is no real need to call one in advance. Dublin airport is a 20 minute taxi ride away.
Both Luas lines (urban tram system) are little more than ten minutes away by foot. There are many bus routes nearby and the nearest stop is about 1 minute from the apartment. The Dart (coastal rail line) is within walking distance. Taxis are always nearby.
There is wifi internet access - this is included in the price and television. However, the phone line may not be used for calls and the owner is not liable for the guests browsing history or streaming etc. You must sign an agreement on arrival - confirming that you will make responsible use of connection and providing and that the owner is not liable for downloading etc. during the period of the lease.
Justine's place is cozy, modern and clean. We wanted a place to stay for a couple of months when moving to Dublin and this was a great decision. There's a Londis convenience store right under the apartment and a Spar a couple of blocks away. The apartment is located 15 minutes away from the center, making it very easy to walk everywhere. For those rainy days or longer distances, there's a bus station with buses going to the west side of the city! Justine was helpful and accessible for any issues. Overall, it was a very positive experience.
