Welcome to the Idahome of the author, Wilson Rawls themed after his literary classic, "Where The Red Fern Grows." Central to everything on a beautiful tree lined street - convenient to downtown, hero arena, hospitals & shopping. Featuring a newly remodeled full bath & cozy queen memory foam bed. Enjoy a peaceful, fully-fenced back yard w/ garage parking, private entrance, kitchen, laundry & hot tub. Relax on the futon w/ 1G fiber internet on the 60" TV w/ Netflix, Prime, HBO, Disney+ & Gaming.

The space
Visit the very place the book was written.
With a Spa, in-suite kitchen, hex clad cookware, stacked Washer and Dryer, fenced back yard, bbq and personal garage this place has everything you need for a unique and comfortable stay.

Please keep in mind that this basement apartment is in a beautiful remodeled older home. There may be some noise from the completely separated upstairs unit. There are no shared interior spaces, however the exterior spaces like backyard, hot tub and huge bbq/smoker are shared.

Kitchenette:
We are so happy to have added a kitchenette! There is now a gas stove top, a few pots and pans and cooking utensils, white mini fridge, microwave, dishes for 2 adults, sink to wash dishes and a few extras to help with light cooking.

This historic home does have central AC and Heating. :) The thermostat is located in the upstairs AirBnB. Please reach out to us if you need help with a temperature adjustment and we would be happy to assist. There are several portable heating devices in the home as well to help with personal heat preferences. Thank you so much!

We keep a travel crib / Pack ’n Play available at the Airbnb for guests to use at no extra charge. :)

For families who prefer a larger sleeping space for their little one, we also offer a standard-size wooden crib option. The crib is stored with our supplies and can be brought over and fully set up upon request.

There is typically a $150 setup fee for the full crib to help cover transportation, setup, mattress protector, and additional laundering.

If you’d like either option prepared for your stay, just let us know prior to arrival. We’re always happy to help make your family’s stay as comfortable as possible. ☀️Subject to availability, based on first come first serve access.
