The B&B facility is an independent unit with a private entrance and is filled with delightful California sunlight, or “romantic" sea fog, depending on the unique microclimate forecast. The B&B unit consists of a huge living room with a classic fireplace, a dining area, a complete kitchen, and two large and bright bedrooms w/ individual bathrooms, and one of the bedrooms attached to a size-able balcony. The neighborhood reflects an unique cultural diverse population in San Francisco, far beyond the remaining city. Russian supermarkets, Italian restaurants, newly acquired Chinatown (Clement Street), many Asian ethnic (Korea, Singapore, Thai, Japanese, Burma, Vietnamese) and authentic cuisines and delicacies, Irish bakery and pubs are all spread out within a stretch of 1 to 2 miles. Don't be surprised if you can hear 5 different languages within a block or two of distance. Meanwhile, this area sustains a strong family oriented atmosphere with multiple religious churches and temples, and daycare centers and grade schools and senior centers.
There are street parking in the areas. The alternate option of transportation tool is Muni, a city public transportation system promised riders not to walk more than a mile to your destination, that is only 20 minutes to SF downtown, Union Square, Cable Car and many tourist points. As mentioned, the Richmond area being one of most enduring marketing ploys is the historical sightseeing spot itself.
