Eddie was a great host. Don't be discouraged that his place isn't in Manhattan because it is very accessible via subway, and for much less money. You will be very comfortable.
Eddie was a great host. He was waiting outside the door when I arrived, and showed me into the apartment and to my room. The entire place was perfectly neat and clean (and also well-decorated!). The bedroom and bathroom were well-maintained, well-organized, and great overall. I would certainly stay at Eddie's place again in the future.
Eddie was a great host - he went out of our way to meet us at a time convenient to us and let us into the room. Left us to our own devices but made it clear he'd be around to help if it was needed in any way. He also has Home Alone on DVD, which is a massive bonus. Would highly recommend,
Muy bien excelente anfitrión , me gustó mucho el lugar y su ubicación , gracias por sus atenciones
I spent fourteen days in Eddie's place, and I had a great time. His place is calm, quiet and safe. It's very close to the subway, and I could walk late in the night with no issues. If you want to stay out of Manhattan, this is a great place.
Eddie's place was great. Short ride to city, clean, comfortable and quiet. Around 15 minute walk from subway and also just one stop away from the main section of Astoria.
Eddie has a treasure there in queens. The room and the house was clean like it's new. I only saw him the first day, he was very helpful and available in case of a need . The place is just a couple of blocks from mta train to Manhattan. I personally enjoyed not staying at Manhattan. That section of Astoria seems very safe and has excellent stores and restaurants. Next to 46th station there is an excellent store of organic products where you can eat excellent meaks. A few greek and morocan restaurants on 31st and on Broadway are worth the visit. One train station away, on Steinway, thereare lots of restaurants and stores and you can even get just squeezed pomegranate juice.
The room is very quiet and has a nice window facing east which gives you a very pleasant sunrise when you wake up. I am glad I have the chance to stay outside Manhattan and breath fresh air and rest from the acceleration. I really enjoyed staying at Eddie's place and I will definitely will check it is available next time I visit NY.
Eddie's place was perfect for our trip, it was bright and clean and conveniently located within a couple minutes walk to the corner bus stop or about ten minutes walk to the subway. Very nice place and we'd stay again.
Eddie was a nice host. He was supportive and the apartment provided a lot of privacy. If you don't want to stay in the center of Manhattan, this is a great option.
Eddie's place was very convenient for visiting Manhattan and we appreciated his hospitality. We felt safe in the quiet community, and have no concerns in staying there again.
