I would absolutely recommend visiting the area and the site where the airstream was located provided the perfect combination of comfort and nature. Murray was an excellent host and very pointed out some beautiful trails to explore. I loved the goats and horses that have free range on the property and come to visit at times. It was very peaceful and secluded. The views no matter where you looked were amazing and the Airstream itself is a wonder since it is a look back in time but still provides every modern comfort that a city girl could ask for. All around a great experience!
Very good stay in the trailer. Didn't actually expect there to be heater and hot water, which is absolutely great!
Enjoyed our one night in the airstream. Good communication with our host Murray. We got there and he directed us quite easily. Even offered to give a ride over to where the goats were grazing. Lovely little hike to see the sunset as suggested by Murray. Overall a good experience. Very quiet and secluded.
This was an amazing getaway! Only a few miles from home but it felt like we were in another world. Such a lovely opportunity to get outdoors and off the grid for a night. Hosts were very welcoming! We will definitely be back.
Staying at Murray and Kay's was the highlight of our trip. Goats, horses, birds, and a fantastic host—what's not to like? We were only there for a night, but we'll be sure to stay a bit longer next time. Murray met us at the gate as soon as we arrived and was available via text if we needed him during the trip. (We didn't.) The hiking was amazing and we truly feel like our souls are refreshed and we're ready to take on life's challenges. Book the trailer. You'll be happy you did.
Stunning location! My kids loved this, and we were sad we got to spend only one night. I highly recommend for families. An experience not to be missed!
Murray was a gracious host. He explained everything and gave helpful directions for hiking. It was a good camping experience with great hiking and views.

My wife and I are Christian, semi-retired film industry people who thrive on adventure and meeting interesting people. Over the past 13 years I've restored several vintage Airstream trailers and consider them the ultimate in camping comfort. One of my restorations now actually resides in Japan!
We used to love to travel and camp in our 1957 'FLYING CLOUD' AIRSTREAM but now enjoy allowing others to share the experience without the hassle of driving, towing and fighting for a spot in a crowded and noisy campground. We live on a 20+ acre ranch property (with some overly friendly goats, dogs and horses) in the Santa Monica Mountains- surrounded by thousands of acres of open space and direct access to the famous Backbone Trail, which is renowned for hiking, horseback and mountain bike riding. We are also only 6 miles from the glorious beaches of Malibu. Our hilltop location is the perfect deluxe camping experience, with ocean views, and base to enjoy this unique mountain range and Mediterranean climate which occurs in only 6 places in the world.
