The Killarney view house was perfect to relax in. Very clean and nice room, great lounge area and the staff was very kind to us.
The bed and breakfast was exactly as per the listing. Cozy and warm place to stay. Easy location to find and close to everything (try to arrive before sunset because the sign is a little hard to find at night). Rooms and washroom are a little small but very clean, and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast was great and there is a variety for everyone. All staff were very helpful (for directions and reservations), friendly, and we almost got a mini history lesson when we asked for it :)
Mary was very accomodating. The set up in the hostel was beautiful. The breakfast was very tasty. The hostel was a nice ten minute walk from Killarney centre, and it was easy to get to Muckross house. I really enjoyed the hostel.
If there was any criticism the rooms, especially the showers, were a little small, but still more than adequate.
Awfull, pass your way for the familiy room.
Who is Mary? we didn't meet her. Too many room to consider this as a B&B (about 20 rooms), it looks like an hotel.
The room is very basic.
The whole hotel is dirty (dead flying insect, spider web on corridor and inside the room, and also dust) The dishes for the breakfast were greasy.
Wifi is only available in lounge room and doesn't work very well.
Heater in the room doesn't work. Bed were very unconfortable.
All the equipment inside the bathroom are too old and used, it will required a full refurbish.
Also a national road with a lot of traffic is in front of the hotel, just not peacefull.
We were very disappointed about our night.
The room was very basic and small, and the bathroom even smaller. It looked dirty as 6 flies were flying in the room when we entered it.
You could hear the dense traffic of the national road that pass near the window all night long.
It looked more like a youth hostel than a BnB.
Breakfast was very slow, we told the staff that We had to live early in the morning: we waited half an hour to get eggs and bacon. Which we never got in the end.
Our worst experience in Ireland. Definitely not worth 80€ a night. Wouldnt recommend it.
