The Master Room is part of the Riad Dar Thalge

This beautiful Riad is located in the heart of the Medina of Marrakech, 7min away from the place Jemaa el-Fnaa!

Come discover the Moroccan way of life in this antic house, completely renovated and redecorated in the last years.

The Riad "Dar Thalge" was the home of the favorite dancer of the Pasha of Marrakech in the middle of the twentieth century, in the 50s. Acquired in 2001 by French architect and designer Eric LEGRIS-Pascal, he was then renovated in an architectural style and iconic design, while retaining its original touches, such as the magnificent arches structuring the patio of Indian inspiration.

Dar THALGE offers an oasis of comfort and coolness even during the hottest hours of Marrakech. The Riad has been completely renovated in early 2011, to offer even more comfort, harmony and with the introduction of many touches of warm colors ...

The Patio of 150 m2 has a small pool where you can relax and cool down when blows the hot desert wind... The patio has the advantage of staying cool in the summer and retains heat during winter nights ... During the summer, we live in the patio during the day and spend the evenings on the terraces.

The Riad is available for rent by room or exclusively depending on your preference.

Such a beautiful relaxing space. Much more like a resort vs a regular Airbnb experience. Be prepared from some cultural differences such as not having a key (I felt so bad having to wake someone to get into the space) and outside guests aren't really allowed in the evening Overall I will stay again just for the night staff and the beautiful breakfast experience:)

This Riad was incredible!! Edouard spoke great English and was able to meet me where the taxi dropped me off in order to walk into the medina. Very clean, quiet, and enjoyable stay. I would definitely reccomend.

Very helpful in telling us where to eat / buy stuff even walked with us to get food since the little alley ways can be tough to navigate at night

This B&B was very clean and well decorated, which felt special. Our room was comfortable and it felt safe and secure. It was difficult to locate as it doesn't have a sign- it's a plain black gate where you have the ring the door bell towards the top right. The location is good and close to the main places. I picked this B&B based on the reviews about the warm and friendly staff, which we didn't seem to experience. We only stayed a night so perhaps it was a one off, but we felt quite uncomfortable and awkward for what was supposed to be a relaxing treat for our final day in Morocco. So many other people have had amazing experiences here, but there is the odd few people who seem to have had a similar experience to me in terms of an unwelcome atmosphere. Overall, the place itself is lovely, I've just stayed in cheaper B&Bs with a friendlier welcome.

The place was beautiful, peaceful, and comfortable. Great location. You can walk to The Bahia Palace in minutes. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful!!! It would have been great if my room had Air conditioning because the August heat was a little too much for me with a fan alone. Otherwise perfect place.
