This was my first AirBnb experience and Maya did a great job in welcoming me and providing me with everything i needed in order to feel right at home. This place is amazing and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay whether long term or short term. There is a huge shopping plaza a 5 min walk away that has everything you could ever need from groceries to a workout gym and more. My only issue with staying here was that the walk to the Bart was a bit long for me (being a person who drives everywhere when home) at around 15-20 mins every morning. However, I quickly adjusted to the walk and i'm sure everyone could use an extra 15 mins of walking each day so it's a win win. Great location, no homeless people, friendly kid safe neighborhood, great home, don't miss out on staying here with Maya! Thanks Maya Trip Duration --> ( 2 months)

Maya's listing was very fitting for my needs. The location is perfect, very close to the 280 freeway and also very close to the ocean. Quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. In addition this location very close to a large community shopping center that has close to 110 brand name stores and over 20 casual and sit-down restaurants. The room is spacious, has ample storage space that includes a walk-in closet, shelving, and wall cubbies. A nice flat screen television with Netflix and a large window that swings open that has a serene view of the neighboring golf course. The house itself is unique, very customized, and open. The bathroom is attractive, a spacious shower, and features a sky light for natural lighting. Maya is a one of a kind hostess that makes amazing coffee and is very kind to her guests! Very happy to have stayed here!

I was on business trip to San Francisco and this Maya’s room seemed nice, until I experienced the complete hell. Since 2010 I've lived with families and young people in over 20 countries at four continents, and I have never had any bad experience, until I entered Maya’s house. 1.Cleanness – everything started from the very first day. After checking in, I realized that the room wasn't cleaned after the previous guest. When I started cleaning the room, Maya said ‘’If you told me you have dust allergies, I would have cleaned it’’. The bathroom wasn't cleaned at all during my stay (4 weeks), the whole house is dirty and smelly on pets. 2.Sleep interruption – Dog that keeps barking at 1am, Maya and her friend watching movies in the living room at 1am.. I feel effects of that stress and sleep interruptions on my organism. 3.Unfriendly dog – every single time you enter the house, you will be ‘’warmly’’ greeted by an angry dog that will start barking on you (yes, every single time). Even if you ignore him, it’s still a huge stress. 4.The worst thing: this was the biggest pressure and torture in Maya’s house. She is obsessed with saving money wherever she can. Therefore, the whole house has turned off lights, heating is very low, and she will make you guilty every time you forget to turn off light. I was warned once for not turning off light my room, after I went to the kitchen for 3 min to take some food. For me, this wasn't only a non-sense but a huge mental pressure knowing that Maya is monitoring every second how much energy I am spending. One another example, in Maya’s Airbnb ad you can see she advertises Jacuzzi in bathroom. Do not even dare to ask to use it, since Maya thinks it'll waste so much electricity (she uses it for storing toilet paper). 5.Slow Internet – I have had so many issue with unstable Internet connection. It’s slow, unstable and keep disconnecting me. When I asked Maya to talk to the Internet company for upgrades, she promised she will do it ‘’tomorrow’’. She did nothing during my stay. 6.Heating – as I mentioned above, Maya is very obsessed with saving every single cent. In that manner, she would leave us for hours (on one occasion for 15 hours) without heating. As a result of that I got cold and when I said that to Maya, every normal person would expect some empathy, apologies or at least a warm cup of tea. Maya told me: ‘’You have been cold for 7 days’’. 7.Hospitality-I have never met that cold and inhospitable person in my life. 8.Location – It’s far from San Francisco and 20-25 minutes to the nearest BART station. This Airbnb experience was very mentally and physically stressful for me, I hope noone will ever experience something like that.

My first AirBnB experience was wonderful. Maya was a wonderful host and Nik helped me out when he was around. The place was spacious and clean and the kitchen had all that I needed. Maya was always there to check on you but also gives you your space when needed. Definitely a great first experience. Would recommend this place to all!

We had a good time at Maya's place. She was a great hostess, very helpful and friendly. The room was overall nice with a big and comfortable bed and everything was very quiet and peaceful (especially compared to the SF hustle). The only thing we didn't like that much was that the house was not the cleanest. Also, to Daly City BART station it is a 20-25 min walk. For a short time however this place is great and we would recommend it any time!
