Located in the heart of the medina of Marrakesh, the Riad Thalge welcomes you in a traditional Moroccan atmosphere, with peace and tranquility. 5 rooms for 10 guests, a patio with a small pool, 3 terraces and 2 living rooms.

The space

The White Room is part of the Riad Dar Thalge http://www.airbnb.com/rooms/833291

This beautiful Riad is located in the heart of the Medina of Marrakech, 7min away from the place Jemaa el-Fnaa!

Come discover the Moroccan way of life in this antic house, completely renovated and redecorated in the last years.

The Riad "Dar Thalge" was the home of the favorite dancer of the Pasha of Marrakech in the middle of the twentieth century, in the 50s. Acquired in 2001 by French architect and designer Eric LEGRIS-Pascal, he was then renovated in an architectural style and iconic design, while retaining its original touches, such as the magnificent arches structuring the patio of Indian inspiration.

Dar THALGE offers an oasis of comfort and coolness even during the hottest hours of Marrakech. The Riad has been completely renovated in early 2011, to offer even more comfort, harmony and with the introduction of many touches of warm colors ...

The Patio of 150 m2 has a small pool where you can relax and cool down when blows the hot desert wind... The patio has the advantage of staying cool in the summer and retains heat during winter nights ... During the summer, we live in the patio during the day and spend the evenings on the terraces.

The Riad is available for rent by room or exclusively depending on your preference.

Eating at the Riad
The cook Nezah will prepare your breakfast every morning. She's also here to prepare any Moroccan meal you might want, whether for lunch or dinner. The costs then varies depending on the meal selected and the number of guests.

You can access them at any time of the day and night, as long as you respect the tranquility of the Riad and the other guests.

This allows us to welcome you when you arrive, to advice you on your trip, what you should see, where you should eat and just help you during your stay.
Moreover we really enjoy meeting new people and making new friendships. We love sharing our knowledge of Marrakesh and our best spots in town.

Our English is not perfect but Mourad and Yassin speak very well and (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Translate is always here to rescue us in difficult times ;)

Edouard and the managers of the riad were really great and helpful! They were constantly available to give us tips on where to go and helped us book whatever tours/workshops we were interested in. The riad itself is really cute and all the spaces were clean. Would definitely recommend this riad to anyone planning a trip to Marrakech.

We were picked up directly from the airport, which was great since the Riad is tucked away and I doubt we would've found it by ourselves. The room was very clean and the Riad's overall ambiance was wonderful. A delicious breakfast was included each morning, and Mourad was a helpful and accomodating host. We loved it!

We really liked the riad - it's pretty, has a nice roof and a good breakfast, and the staff is kind. The two things I would note are that rooms don't lock and there isn't a safe (staff assured us it was safe, and it felt safe, but we would have preferred the additional security), and there's a tourist tax that will be applied at the end of the stay, which I didn't realize. We were otherwise really happy - a staff member went out of his way to take me and another guest somewhere to find late-night dinner, which I really appreciated.

Riad Thalge is just as beautiful as the photos appear. We stayed in the white room, and found it very clean and comfortable. The staff at the riad were wonderfully helpful and kind.

Overall the place was nice and clean. The only problem was that we we arrived at the Riad, our room was occupied by other guest, and they sent us to sleep at a house next to the Riad for one night. Even though the room was bigger, we did not feel conformable since it was not inside the Riad, and the room was very cold. Make sure they don't double book your stay. The dinner there was really good, but a little expensive. The people working there were very helpful and friendly.

The staff is very nice. Felt safe although a little intimidating when dropped off by the taxi driver and had to find out way into the labyrinth to find our riad. Beds are comfortable. Shower in room, but have to leave the room for the toilet.
