The Space

Located near Holland’s most beautiful area ‘de Veluwe’. Area loved for it’s woods, beautiful scenery and old cities. Fully equipped house with super fast wifi internet, beamer projector, comfortable beds, private garden, free parking & deadend street

The house is located in a quiet (typical Dutch) neighborhood of the royal city of Apeldoorn, located in Holland’s most beautiful area ‘de Veluwe’. An area loved for it’s woods, beautiful scenery and old cities, Dutch people come here themselves on holiday.

- 4 bedrooms (2 double beds, 3 single bed, 1 extra sleep) – 1 big bathroom (with jet jetstream bath and seperate rain shower) – big living room with cinema projector (watch movies like in the theatre) and piano – modern, fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, multi-oven, kenwood major titanium) – 2 toilets, green, private and sunny garden (w terrace) - carport for one car and free park places in the street.

Since Holland is quite a small country you will enjoy this central location a lot. Holland has perfect transportation systems. It takes you less then 1 hour by car or train to the centre of Amsterdam, Less than 30 minutes to the 17th century historical cities of Amersfoort, Arnhem, Zwolle and Deventer. Which are really nice to visit for it’s culture, atmosphere and shopping, also in the winter. From Apeldoorn you can visit any place in Holland easily. In fact it will only take you around 1.5 hour to go to Antwerp in Belgium and within 40 minutes you will cross the German border. (Cologne and Dusseldorf are also only 1.5 hour away.)

Also located within 20 minutes is the Kroller Muller Museum famous for its permanent Van Gogh exhibition. The green city of Apeldoorn itself is surrounded with beautiful nature. It has a nice city centre with many shops and squares with restaurants, cinema, museums, bars and lunchrooms. The city is famous for ‘Paleis Het Loo’, the palace of the royal family, which is open to the public. Also the ‘Apenheul’, a monkey park where many of the monkeys walk around freely is really nice to visit. The city has many attractions for (young) kids.

The Egelantier shopping centre for your daily needs is on a few minutes walking distance. So is the bus stop that takes you around the city and to the bus/train station.

The fee is for renting the complete house including the use of a washing machine / dryer and all kitchen equipment, very fast internet, herbs and oil to cook, brita water / available tea and coffee, shampoo, douche gel, tooth paste, fresh linen and towels.

Bike-rental is available 10 minutes from the house.

An ideal location in Holland for summer and winter holidays.

The owner of the house is an international photographer with expositions in New York, Namibia and Amsterdam. The well decorated house got many pictures made by the artist.

Minimum stay is 2 nights.

  • If you enter Adrians house you feel immediately at home! The house is really well decorated. I stayed here with a group of friends and we had a great time. It's just a small ride to the city centre of Apeldoorn. Adrian is a great host and provides you with a lot of information about the neigherbourhood.

  • Beautiful place! Very clean and comfortable with lots of space and of the amenities we could wish for and more! Adrien was very kind and quick to respond to our questions and requests. He provided us with a very useful guide to the house, restaurants, grocery, bike rentals and all sorts of attractions in the area. We'll definitely return! Many thanks for the great stay!

  • We were a family of seven and had a great stay at Apeldoorn. There was enough room for us all. It was clean and we were welcome to use necessary ingredients for meals and that was appreciated.
We had a car and that was needed to explore places around Apeldoorn, such as Kroller muller Museum, which we can highly recommend and also Het Loo where we spent most of another day.
Altogether a positive experience-thank you, Adrian!

  • Adrian's house was wonderful! Everything was ready for our arrival and all the details were planned ahead for us to be comfortable. It's very well located if you have a car and about an hour drive from the major cities like Amsterdam, Den Haag and Utrecht. We had a great stay and we definitely recommend it.

  • Nice and well equiped house in a quiet neighborhood. The house has a nice back garden and is well connected by bus to the centre of Apeldoorn or you can of course ride your bike there. A shopping centre with most of the shops you'll need is a short walk away but restaurants are a bit thin on the ground in the area. Adrian is a very helpful host.

  • We had a great stay at this house. We were 2 family of 3 adults and 4 children stayed in this house. The place was adequate to accommodate us all. Very nice place and well maintained and cleaned. All kitchen equipment and utensils were provided for and worked properly. The house was located very close to the bus stop (5mins walk) and 10mins from shops, supermarkets. Our overall experience in this house is GREAT! Definite recommendable! Adrian has been a great host and good Communication.

  • We are two families of 7 people and we have spent one week at Adrian's house. Although Adrian was not at home, a friend of him welcomed us and explained us everything we needed to know about the house. The rest of the days we have been in touch with our host, who has been kindly giving advice to us about different places to visit.
We felt as if we were at our own home because the house has all the facilities: a perfectly well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, a big bathroom with shower and bath, a very nice garden and a living-room with a superb projector and professional sound. The house was decorated with good taste and we really liked the beautiful photos taken by Adrian.
Adrian's house is located in a perfect place because it's close to the highway and near the most important cities of Netherland.
We have also enjoyed a lot the forests and parks placed near the house, as well as the bikeways.
Thank you so much Adrian for your kindness and we truly recommend staying at this beautiful house, specially for nature lovers!

  • Our family of 5 have spent a week in Adrian and Dominika house, and it was perfect by all means.
The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant with close supermarket, shops and a nearby walking distance beautiful park.
The house is beautifully decorated clean and inviting. We felt at home from the first moment.
Although Adrian was out of town, he was very attentive and responsive to any question we had, and we felt he is a generous host.
The house manual is full with valuable information including restaurants recommendations which we have checked and enjoyed. When we had to leave our girls asked if we can extend our stay for a whole year :) We will surely be back to Adrian's house next time we are visiting The Netherlands.
    Bottom line: highly recommended !
