This apartment is part of a 3 story Georgian house located in the heart of Dublin city. It has one bedroom, an additional sofa bed, a kitchen/living space and one bathroom. It's brand new and has been fitted out to the highest standard. Cable TV, WiFi, power shower and a well equipped kitchen will ensure you feel at home.
We are located at the back of Trinity college adjacent to Windmill lane where U2 recorded their first albums. 50m away is the river liffey and a lovely walk down to the new and exciting Hanover quay. We are only 12min walk from Grafton st and 8minto Temple Bar. The area is very safe and quiet at night time.
In terms of access the Dart train system is only 5 minutes away giving easy access South to Bray or North to picturesque Howth & Malahide.
There are very few Georgian houses so close to the city centre. This location allows you peace and quiet and you are only a 5 minute walk from Trinity college and the core of the city centre.
The neighbourhood is very central with easy access to the city centre as well as Hannover quay and the IFSC financial district.
The DART local rail system and Luas tram system are both within 5 minutes from the house. Also 'Dublin Bike' stations are located at the end of the street !
Please be respectful of the house, absolutely no smoking, other than that enjoy the comfort and easy access to Dublin.
Georgina was a great host, very generous, laid back, and friendly. The flat was impeccably clean, plus she arranged to have it cleaned while staying there. The flat is within walking distance to everything, plus there is a grocery store a block away -- biggest "win" ever. I would recommend her to anyone. You're the best Georgina, take care.
It was a great pleasure to stay at Georgia&Gar's place. Good location, nice and very clean flat. Georgia welcomed us very warmly when we arrived even though it was late in the evening. We highly recommend it!
We arrived in Dublin on a very rainy day and met Georgia (we arrived earlier than expected). Georgia was very accommodating and recommended us to hangout at a cafe a block while she finished some last minute preparations. The place was as you would see in the pictures, very clean, all the key amenities you will need and of course it is located in the more quiet side of the city. It is a 15-25 minute walk depending on your pace to either Grafton street or Temple Bar. If you intend to do some site seeing or ride a hop on off, you can make it to Nassau street much quicker (that is where some of the tours are picked up) about 10-15 minutes. Overall, it was a worth it experience except for the continuous rain that at some point made a puddle on the entry way of the flat which got our shoes soaked; which in my opinion was due more to the amount of rain that poured during the last couple of days. I definitely recommend Georgia and Gar's Flat if you need a getaway to beautiful Dublin.
Gorgeous little flat, perfect for 4 friends having a reunion in Dublin. Flat was clean, tidy and had everything we needed including bedding and towels.
In a great location for getting around the city and out to the airport easily.
Hosts were happy to arrange a later check in to suit us.
Thanks so much for making us feel so welcome and relaxed!!
We had a wonderful four days in Georgia and Gar's cozy apartment in mid-October. There were three of us: my husband, myself, and our six year old daughter, and it fit us perfectly. The kitchen was well stocked, the shower and washer/dryer worked very well, and the place was very warm and comfortable during our stay. Georgia and Gar could not have been more accommodating. The apartment is in the basement of the building and they live just above. While a basement apartment, it got plenty of sunshine and light, which is important to us. It is perfectly located: supermarket about a 3 minute walk away; easy access to lovely jogging path next to the river; and 15 minute walk to most of the popular places to visit. The place was ideal and I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
We stayed here for a weekend and enjoyed every bit of it. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The location is great, just a block or two from the river and close to trinity and city centre as indicated in the description.
Lovely cozy flat just as shown in photographs. Everything provided in the kitchen, good stove and oven and sizeable fridge. Flat very clean, bed
comfortable and plenty of hot water. Sunny spot to enjoy with table & two chairs in little courtyard area outside front door. Flat has some great reading material (books) and good selection of DVD's for a night in. Supermarket close by for store provisions. Flat is just off the Quay and close to Trinity College and main shopping area Grafton Street. Neighbourhood quiet at night. All communication with Georgia and Gar and on arrival very helpful and welcoming. A great place to stay in Dublin. Thank you.
