My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights to enjoy some skiing. We had originally wanted a place for us and our 2 adult children, but found that although this condo 'officially' sleeps 4, it is very small and to have 4 adults in the space at night would have been very tight. For 4 friends, it would have been fine, but for parents and adult kids, it didn't really work, so my husband and I stayed alone, which was fine for us.
The kitchen was moderately equipped, but I did have to buy an extra cereal bowl, a salad bowl and a decent paring knife. Again, this was okay with us.
All in all, we were there to ski and ski we did! Skiing in was great, but as someone else mentioned, it's not really ski-out, as there is a short walk to the lift.
We didn't use the hot tub, so cannot comment there.
I'd recommend this condo for a couple or a couple with small kids.
Absolutely amazing and seamless experience. We enjoyed every part of our stay, from booking it and talking to Sarah about what to do in the area, to getting detailed directions, to walking into a cozy, clean and comfortable condo apartment.
Highly recommended and we are already planning to come back and book the same place for our next trip!
Sarah is a gracious host and has a great little spot tucked away in the most convenient location. My daughter and I had a great time and will stay again soon.
Had a great experience here at Sarah's little spot at the Blue. It was -35 degrees the first night but we were very warm and cozy in there. The unit comes very well equipped, we managed to cook all our meals. One piece in particular was fascinating was this wicked blender thing called a Ninja, it was amazing for our smoothies!
Didn't get a chance for the hot tub unfortunately. Staff was friendly and parking was plenty (including an underground.)
Ski-in was great due to a shortcut you can take off the Schuss but for boarders, it isn't exactly a ski-out, it's about a 1 min walk to the lift. I would say the North side is definitely geared towards the skiier types (obvious since the ski club is there) but you can make due with a board.
I made a little edit of the trip, which includes a quick rip into the chalet for anyone who wants to see the ski-in ski-out style.
Sarah was very quick to respond on the texts, and I didn't have any problems with AirBnB (was my first time using them.)
Would come back again, perhaps in the summer for some mountain biking next time around.
This place is totally awesome! Pictures are up to date and reflect the property well. The ski lift is literally a five minute walk from the condo's front door and there is an awesome rental place at the entrance of the complex.
Didn't get a chance to use the resort amenities or the bus to the village, but the unit itself was cozy and the directions / parking couldn't have been any easier.
We had some very minor issues with the housekeeping, but we don't think that was the owner's fault. When we told her about it we felt as though our concerns were genuinely taken care of and that the owner had real pride in her property.
Response time on email and text was extremely quick and effective. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice getaway.
Sarah was very accommodating and her place was great! Very close to the village and the scandinave spa. We had an amazing time
Great location for ski and summer activities.
We arrived late, directions were easy to follow even in the dark. Check in was a breeze. We liked that the condo faces the back of the property, nice and quiet. Love, love, love the beach! Sarah was a great guide, very knowledgeable about the area. Highly recommended.
Sarah was a pleasure to deal with and the condo was very well kept and clean! We had a great week using the pool and all the amenities at Blue Mountain Resort.
Nice cozy studio condo. Perfect for 2 people (or 1 adult and 2 kids! ;) ). Great location. The pool on site was a great addition. Lots of fun at the private beach. Sarah is great to work with!
