Quaint water tower guest room on country property. Conveniently located next to Highway 1 with ocean and dune view. Lots of friendly animals and a fun area to explore.
This adorable water tower is located on our 4-acre ranchette with an ocean view. This 1930's tower was rescued from demolition and converted into a small guest room. There is a small sitting area and an alcove with a full-size bed. It's cozy and charming.
The bath house is located next to the water tower offering a full bath with indoor and outdoor showers and sinks. Additional 1/2 bath available in our garage.
Relax with your cup of coffee at our bistro table with a view of the Oceano dunes, dune lakes and the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Enjoy the cool ocean breeze, feed the chickens, pet the horses, relax by the pond then toast your s'mores over the bonfire in the evening.
Sorry, no pets allowed.
Conveniently located next to Pacific Coast Highway 1 on "The Mesa".

We have recently completed a trip driving from northern to southern California and can honestly say that Laura & Ben's place was the nicest that we stayed at on our whole trip (hotels included). It is a little out of the way but when you do find it you are rewarded with beautiful, unique accommodation in an incredible setting. We only stayed one night (much to our regret) but the water tower was the perfect place to sleep. Every detail has been thought of and Laura and Ben are such welcoming hosts. The surrounding area is lovely, we only managed a flying visit to nearby Arroyo Grande which is very picturesque and has a great ice cream shop! Ben gave us some excellent advice as to places to stop at during our onward journey and we really enjoyed talking to both he and Laura. Overall I cannot recommend the water tower highly enough.
Love staying here when I'm in the Pismo Beach area. The location is minutes from "downtown" Pismo and the farm itself is reason enough to visit. There are so many fun things to explore on the property and the hosts are both incredibly accommodating and only add to the experience. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a personable and relaxing place to stay on their next vacation.
This place was such an enchanting piece of Ben and Laura's dream come to life. Rustic and quaint but super comfortable and one of a kind. I loved the outdoor space, friendly animals, and getaway feel. Plus, Ben and Laura were super nice and welcoming. Amazing little spot.
Words can't describe our stay here. This couple, their creativeness, their land and the water tower are truly amazing!!! We would recommend everyone and anyone to stay here, you will be overwhelmed. The only downside was that we couldn't stay longer. A true experience!
What a beautiful location! Laura met with my boyfriend and I as soon as we arrived, and was very happy to show us around and offer tips on local spots. The water tower room was cozy and comfortable, with easy to open windows for fresh air or privacy, and a soft, warm bed. The property itself was very comfortable and well cared for. We enjoyed meeting the animals (DJ the cat was a very friendly host) and exploring the teeter totter and swings. The upstairs room was adorable, and perfect to sleep 2 kids, or even 2 adults who like outer space themes and bunk beds. ;)
The fire pit next to the pond was a perfect place to spend our evening, and the smell of eucalyptus trees was absolute heaven. We could see the dunes and ocean from our front door. I loved the sounds of frogs, chickens, horses, and other wilderness noises, but ear plugs were available for those with a lighter sleep cycle.
The bath house was clean and well decorated, with lots of information about the area available. The outdoor shower was a charming touch for a warm afternoon. The water temperature varied a bit during our morning showers, but since this is clearly an older home with older plumbing, it didn't bother me enough to complain about. The tag room nearby was a lot of fun to explore, and we made use of the markers to sign the walls. We didn't make use of the coffee station (There is a starbucks 15 minutes away, so we just went there for breakfast instead), but everything inside looked clean and well stocked.
I am looking forward to coming back as soon as possible!
This was such a unique air bnb experience. The water tower was great, you can't beat waking up to a view of the Pacific Ocean. The sounds of the animals were also an added bonus adding to the experience. Laura was a fantastic host!
