Interaction with Guests
Check-In. You are free to arrive whenever you like so long as it is after 3:00 p.m. You will receive a number code once you book and use that to get into the apartment. I respect your privacy but am always available by phone, text, email or Airbnb message if you need anything.
The Park. Meridian Park is the Central Park of DC. An urban park like no other, it's got a huge cascading fountain and 12 acres of green trees and unique sculptures right in the middle of the city.
Central Location. Even better is you are central to 3 of the best areas in DC. Walk one block east and you are right in the bustling U Street Corridor, a few blocks west and you are on 18th street in Adams Morgan. Go south a few blocks and you are right at Dupont Circle. Walk north and you are in Columbia Heights. I love this neighborhood because it is quiet and residential, but still close to all the action.
Safety. This is one of the safest areas of DC. Take caution as you would in any city. Most of NW is pretty safe but this area is a lot more established than some of the up and coming neighborhoods.
Every form of transportation is an option.
Parking? There is only street parking available, but it is FREE. A rarity in DC (or any city), the street next to the apartment is unmetered and there are always spots available on W street (between 15th and 16th). You will even be able to see your car from the window of the unit. The only restriction is a street cleaning on Monday mornings meaning you would have to move it out of the space for about 1/2 hour.
Rental Car? There are 2 on-site Enterprise vehicles in the building's parking lot available to rent. Simply contact Enterprise and they will set it up for you, you can pick up a car from right in front of the building and drop it off in the same spot when you are done. There are also two Zipcar spaces with a similar set up.
Bikeshare? Super easy. There are 3 pickup locations within a block of the building. You can rent a bike for $7/day or get a 3 day pass for $15.
Metro? The Green and Yellow lines are a 3 block walk from the unit. There are Smart Cards in the apartment for you to use, simply take the card with you when you head out for the day and you can charge it at any metro station using a debit card, credit card or cash.
Bus? There is a bus stop less than a block away and 4 different bus lines are available for pick up every 7-10 minutes. You can get straight downtown to the National Mall in about 10-15 minutes.
There are maps of the city and transit information in the apartment.
Other Things to Note
I am friendly, laid back and accommodating. My guests are always happy with my recommendations so definitely don't hesitate to ask. I know the city well. I am well-organized and always available for questions.
Thanks for looking :)
Please just be respectful and leave the place how you found it.
Just as it says, "Sunny and clean on the Park!" Just as the photo shows cascading water fountain across the W street. If AirBnB provides audio, Brynn could have added the bird chirping.
Many bus lines within a few blocks carried us to most spots that we visited. Metro a couple blocks further did the rest.
Brynn's House Manual could be a template for other hosts to emulate. The apartment is professionally cleaned, and we left it as she instructed.
A memorable stay, and my best AirBnB experience. Thanks, Brynn.
We had a wonderful experience at Brynn's Airbnb: The instructions for accessing the building and apartment were clear, understandable, and easy. The apartment was so well supplied including coffee, tea, and toiletries. It made waking up the first morning so enjoyable as we had gotten in late and couldn't purchase groceries until the next day. The apartment was clean and exactly as it had been described. The location was incredible: a view of the park, convenient shopping, and the metro stop just four blocks away. The price was so affordable we could stay an extra day to visit with our son. I can't say enough about our experience. We will definitely go back. Thank you Brynn!
Brynn was very helpful and responsive right from the start of the booking process, whether it was about check in procedures or how to operate the air conditioner, and we never felt uncomfortble reaching out to ask her questions.
The apartment itself is lovely and comfortable, and the location is very central - close to the restaurants and bars on U street, a 10 minute walk to the Metro and a stone's throw away from Meridian Park which offers great people watching on a Sunday.
We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this place to any friends planning to visit DC!
Brynn was an extremely thoughtful and accommodating host. Loved the place and would definitely stay again.
Our stay at Brynn's apartment was pleasant. It was spacious and had everything we needed for the duration of our stay. The location was great - easy walking distance from lots of attractions and restaurants, and an easy journey to the metro.
The only thing I would caution to those travelling with young children is the building is quite loud and the doors of other units tend to slam quite loudly ... Waking little ones up.
Brynn was very pleasant and quick to respond.
We loved our stay in DC. Brynn was always quick to get back to us when we had questions. The place was clean and quiet. Comfortable bed. We enjoyed the park across the street. The metro was close and the neighborhood had great food. We would stay here again when in town. Rick and Alison
Washington DC was great; and Brynn's apartment had everything to do with it! Her place has a wonderful view of the park and is walking distance to almost everything. The place is immaculate and in perfect condition. Her recommendations for restaurants and bars are spot on and she is always there for you if you run into any issues (which are few and far between). I would highly recommend her place to my friends and others.

About the Host, Brynn
I am an attorney by day and an entrepreneur by fortune and circumstance.
I have worked on Capitol Hill for over 5 years; I started my corporate rental business back in NY while attending law school. I found I had a knack for the business side of things. I also happen to love real estate and interior design so it works out pretty nicely.
I maintain upscale, furnished luxury units and have worked with business travelers from all over the world. My clients include members of the Washington Nationals, the U.S. Senate and the Metropolitan Opera. I also specialize in placement for law students and government employees.
I recently purchased my first condo in Waikiki; Hawaii is a very special place for me and I decided to share my home with you while I am off-island. Like DC, I lived in Hawaii for many years and I have an intimate knowledge of the island of Oahu. It's my happy place and I hope it is yours too.
I am a great source of local knowledge in both DC and Hawaii; I keep my finger on the pulse and you should definitely feel comfortable asking me for local recommendations.
