Guest Access

Roof Deck. There is a great roof deck on top of the building with seating. Take in a 360 degree view of beautiful DC.

Laundry. Right downstairs. Laundry cards and detergent are provided for you.

Interaction with Guests

Check-In. You are free to arrive whenever you like so long as it is after 2:00 p.m. You will receive a number code once you book and use that to get into the apartment. I respect your privacy but am always available by phone, text, email or Airbnb message if you need anything.

The Neighborhood

The Park. Meridian Park is the Central Park of DC. An urban park like no other, it's got a huge cascading fountain and 12 acres of green trees and unique sculptures right in the middle of the city.

Central Location. Even better is you are central to 3 of the best areas in DC. Walk one block east and you are right in the bustling U Street Corridor, a few blocks west and you are on 18th street in Adams Morgan. Go south a few blocks and you are right at Dupont Circle. Walk north and you are in Columbia Heights. I love this neighborhood because it is quiet and residential, but still close to all the action.

Safety. This is one of the safest areas of DC. Take caution as you would in any city. Most of NW is pretty safe but this area is a lot more established than some of the up and coming neighborhoods.

Getting around

Every form of transportation is an option.

Parking? There is only street parking available, but it is FREE. A rarity in DC (or any city), the street next to the apartment is unmetered and there are always spots available. You will even be able to see your car from the window of the unit. The only restriction is a street cleaning on Monday mornings meaning you would have to move it out of the space for about 1/2 hour.

Rental Car? There are 2 on-site Enterprise vehicles in the building's parking lot available to rent. Simply contact Enterprise and they will set it up for you, you can pick up a car from right in front of the building and drop it off in the same spot when you are done. There are also two Zipcar spaces with a similar set up.

Bikeshare? Super easy. There are 3 pickup locations within a block of the building. You can rent a bike for $7/day or get a 3 day pass for $15.

Metro? The Green and Yellow lines are a 3 block walk from the unit. There are Smart Cards in the apartment for you to use, simply take the card with you when you head out for the day and you can charge it at any metro station using a debit card, credit card or cash.

Bus? There is a bus stop less than a block away and 4 different bus lines are available for pick up every 7-10 minutes. You can get straight downtown to the National Mall in about 10-15 minutes.

There are maps of the city and transit information in the apartment.

Other Things to Note

I am friendly, laid back and accommodating. My guests are always happy with my recommendations so definitely don't hesitate to ask. I know the city well. I am well-organized and always available for questions.

  • I had a terrific stay. The apartment was easy to find, highly accessible, in a nice neighborhood, and in a secure building. Plenty of great places to visit in the neighborhood and not too far from the metro and bus stations. The view from the apartment windows is truly wonderful. I loved sitting in the kitchen in the morning, drinking coffee, reading the paper and looking out the window. Brynn made things flow smoothly and she provides detailed information online. I plan to book this apartment again in the future.

  • Brynn was wonderful! Very responsive and easy to coordinate with. I had friends visiting DC for the first time, and the location of her apartment was awesome. Just a five minute walk from great bars and restaurants on U St! The apartment itself was beautiful and clean, and spacious enough to fit the air mattress without any problems at all. It has a wonderful view since it's right across the street from Meridian Hill Park. I would definitely stay here again!

  • My boyfriend and I loved our stay at Brynn's! She was extremely accommodating and understanding of our requests. She is also very responsive and usually got back to my questions in less than 2 hours! She is an amazing host and would love to go back if we are visiting DC again.

The area is also very convenient, we mostly did our travels through the metro and the station was only a 10min walk away. U Street is also a very vibrant area.

We loved staying at Brynns! Thank you for everything!

About
I am an attorney, a writer and a humble public servant. I relocated to DC from Brooklyn; my family lives in Massachusetts and I left my heart in Hawaii. I want to move back there someday but I can't do it unless I pay off my law school loans and become the real estate mogul I was destined to be and that is why I am on this site.
