Hi guys Gaby and Robert here: to get a feel how close we are, look at the video (website hidden). com/watch?v=qVzgLcDjWzY
Please don't be put off by this listing being outside of Manhattan. We are closer to Midtown Manhattan, Times Square, Theater District, Madison Square Garden, Grand Central Empire State Building, Saint Patrick's Cathedral, and Rockefeller Center than staying in other parts of Manhattan (Wall St., Upper East or West Side, above 70s... We are closer than all parts of Brooklyn and definitely way closer than staying in Queens/Bronx).
Newly decorated private apt. in Union City, NJ. Union City is on the other side of the Lincoln Tunnel and therefore very close (15 min. bus ride) to Port Authority/Times Square area.
Private luxurious apt. with two queen size beds, night-stands, open spacious central air and heat, beautiful hardwood floors and exquisite mahogany color to help you relax after a day of sightseeing and shopping or whatever you please. We will welcome you with open arms.
Take a bath or soak in marble soaking tub with a shower head that makes you feel like you bathing in the rain, a great kitchen right out of a James Bond movie. A beautiful large living room where you can sit down to a glass of wine, hear your favorite music, eat a snack. This is what Robert & Gaby your hosts will provide for you. They will greet you as part of your family; if you need them or request them, they will be right there for your assistance. Your privacy and accommodation will be our responsibility and our pleasure.
About the neighborhood:
The neighborhood is quiet and very nice, 100 steps from a family grocery to buy what you need. Walking distance to banks, pharmacy, and 15 minutes from midtown Manhattan (Time Square/Port Authority Bus Terminals). You'll reach Midtown faster from this location than from locations even located in Manhattan.

The Hosts were really friendly, the room is identical as picture I like it however just some details missed, please take this like a feedback to improve the service:
Supposedly there was a key for my outside but I had to wait for a five minutes to come inside. The room is beautiful boutique but it was really cold, it seems that the heater was turned off also when I enter the room, the bed was completely unmade.
all the rest was ok, I can recommend this room, is very close to manhattan and public transport is very fluid, the area is quiet although it is difficult to find parking. And the snow experience through the window was fab.
Used this space for a short photoshoot. Lovely and clean. Planning on using it again!
Thanks Gaby/Robert for accommodation. Location is really good.
There are several rooms on the same level, you have to consider to share the bath with 3-4 people or even more, depending on # of guests.
The one I've stayed in, is in corridor where stairway is, and I can state it's cold there when outside is -C temperature. There is the warmer, but it's not definitely enough when outside is -7 and less.
It could be it's good price/value option for spring/summer, if you are not too demanding person and going to make a short stop.
Very positive experience all around - everything was as promised. Thank you Gaby for hosting me.
We stayed for one night only so we couldn't meet our host, but Gaby and Robert were extremely helpful and communicative in offering us fully detailed instructions for locating the place. The room was spacious and comfortable, just a short stroll to public transport and close to NYC, I would definitely recommend this place.
A beautiful room and lovely people. Thank you, Gaby & Robert for providing an easy and affordable place to stay so close to NYC.
It was my first time with airbnb - and it worked very well. Nice place, nice bad, clean appartment, even working table and chair in a room.
