Karen’s Kabins & RVs offers a peaceful retreat with scenic meadow views and wildlife along the banks of the Illinois River. Guests can stroll the riverfront or explore nearby kayak parks, bike trails, and local attractions. The property features a picnic area with a charcoal grill, open space for pets, and thoughtfully designed cabins. Karen adds a personal touch through her music and prayer, creating a warm, meaningful stay.

The space
The property features 13 open, well-maintained acres stretching along the river, offering plenty of space to walk your pet and enjoy the outdoors. We take great care to keep the grounds mowed and accessible for guests. In addition to the cabin, there are two RVs on the property, each with nearby camping-style areas and ample space to cook out and relax. The land is ideal for walking animals; however, all pets must be kept on a leash at all times.

Guest access
Guest are allowed to explore the area but needs to stay clear of the mobile home and private property signs beyond property boundaries. Neighbors have been known to shoot guns for target practice but not often.

Other things to note
The property is regularly maintained to ensure a clean and enjoyable stay. The owner’s son and his family live on-site in a separate mobile home and assist with groundskeeping and maintenance. They are available to respond if assistance is needed but respect guest privacy. Please connect with host for any needs.
