If you want to be in the city center but outside the touristic area, we rent our cozy flat within a typical 1930s building on a quiet pedestrian street, St. John's district!

The Space

The apt accommodates 2 to 4 people, it is located on the 4th floor and provides lots of light, high ceilings, beautiful original pavement. We do love design, so we refitted this old but fancy apt with both vintage and DIY pieces from recycled material. The rooms are wide and face an internal green area: it's a most peaceful location to relax as well as to work. There is a small entrance, living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom. The living room can be turned into a double bedroom thanks to a comfortable sofa bed (160cm wide). You will also find a tiny balcony where you can take some sun in the morning or have a drink in the evening. The bathroom is equipped with tub, shower and natural light as well. The bedroom is very cozy though: there is a comfortable bed (please note it is 120cm wide) closet, table, and a vintage armchair. If you wish, our well-equipped kitchen is at your disposal to prepare your meals or store your shopping :).

Guest Access

In the flat you will find:
fast wireless connection 24/24
washing machine + soap
speakers with smartphone/tablet plug in the kitchen
central heating - no need to manage!
towels and linen povided
hair dryer
welcome wine

Interaction with Guests

Feel free to ask us anything about your stay in Rome: events, exhibitions, things to do, where to eat etc... we will try to help you with pleasure!

The Neighborhood

San Giovanni is one of the most ancient areas in Rome. Coliseum, the Aurelian walls, San Giovanni Church, Caracalla thermal baths are few steps away, while the area shows a modern attitude through fascista architecture of the early 20th century. Pigneto and San Lorenzo districts, interesting for their nightlife and multicultural attitude, are near and well connected even at late night.Striving from shopping to culture, there is no end to the nearby opportunities available.

Getting around

San Giovanni tube station (A line connecting with Termini station, 15 minutes) is 7 minutes walk from here. Bus 628 and 117 connect with the old town even if the coliseum is just 15 minutes walk from here! Both Fiumicino and Ciampino airport are well connected by bus + train or metro + train.

Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Tina's apartment was fantastic! It's very spacey and tastefully furnished, with lots of cool details to discover. It's located outside of the touristy area, but just a short walk from the Colosseum and other attractions in Rome. The area is quiet and we felt very safe there. The apartment was clean and communication with Tina was friendly, fast and to the point. Overall hassle-free experience and highly recommendable flat, a true pearl in Rome. We hope to come back here some day :-)

  • We had a lovely stay in Tina's apartment, which is a lot bigger than it seems in the pictures. It's just outside the tourist area but only a 10 minute walk to the metro station and a 20 minute walk to the Colosseum. Tina was really helpful during the booking and gave us great recommendations on places to eat near the apartment when we got there. Bonus: there is a wonderful bakery and market that sells fresh produce down the street, as well as a store that makes fresh pasta that you can bring back to the apartment to make. Would definitely stay here again!

  • Tina's flat is just gorgeous! It has a unique atmospheare and smart taste for original design pieces of furniture. What really surprised us it's been the size: it's much bigger then it looks in the pics! The location is great and the neighbourhood has a special roman character. Thanks Tina, we really had a delightful stay!

  • The flat of Tina is situated traffic-favourably in a typical Roman residential area. By bus or metro you can reach fast the city centre and the different places of interest of Roma. The Colosseum is within walking distance from the flat for example.
The flat offers enough place and is equipped with all necessary that you need as well as very cleanly.
In the surroundings there are some typical Italian shops (small supermarket, baker, butchers, ice-cream parlour etc.) and restaurants in which you can buy and eat quite reasonable.
Tina and Andrea are a very nice and helpful couple. We enjoyed our stay there very much and can fully recommend this place.
Tina, sorry because of our delayed review.
