Come relax in our hand-built urban home in the heart of downtown Lafayette. Garden sit. Porch swing. Claw foot tub soak. Easy bike or walk to everything downtown has to offer, UL, Girard Park, festivals and more. We would be happy to host you.

The space
Beautiful antique cypress house. 2 full-size beds (upstairs bed made only upon request for a party of 2 or when the booking is for 3 or more guests). One bed is in the loft, accessible by ladder only. The other bed is in the studio space below. Bathroom features vintage claw foot tub with overhead rain shower, river stone flooring, blue-green art glass window panes in an old cypress door, and bicycle handlebars and brake levers for towel bars and hooks. Kitchen features 1930s cast iron porcelain sink set in stainless counter atop vintage pine shelves. Cast iron table and bentwood chair set, together with fridge, freestanding stove, dishes and cookware allow for dining in. Living room and kitchen windows feature stained glass artwork. Loft space railing fashioned from pre-World War II bicycle frames adds interest. No TV or radio, just glorious escape.

Entry to the house is through the driveway all the way towards the back and then go left until you enter the garden and see the cabin.
