  • May's flat was fabulous. It is in a wonderful part of Amsterdam - with great cafes and shops around the corner (the museli at the Coffee Room is amazing), a 2-minute walk from public transportation, and a 15-minute walk into the heart of the city. The flat is well-equipped, clean, and safe. And May was a perfect host, communicating quickly, offering excellent directions and suggestions for the stay, and even sending a lovely little guide to her favourite shops and restaurants, ranked by distance from the flat. I couldn't recommend this flat more.

  • We spent lovely days in Amsterdam and in May's appartment. It was very very clean and everything was detailed decorated. May welcomed us warmly and her tips were great. She was available for any questions/support during the stay. Big thanks to her and her hospitality.

Thank you May for staying up so late to give us the key!

  • Apartment was excellent. Very clean and shared close proximity to food and shops. Really a stone's throw away from Central Amsterdam. May was extremely helpful in arranging directions to her home.

  • My boyfriend and I stayed at May's flat from Friday 14th-Sunday16th March 2014, we arrived on Friday morning and by the time we had set off to the airport in the UK May had contacted us wishing us a safe flight and with all her contact details for when we landed in Amsterdam. From Amsterdam train station the flat is only a 10min tram ride away, May was at the flat when we arrived and was very welcoming. The flat was very clean we'll furnished and very homely, perfect for a couple. May provided us with a PDF of places to eat, drink, party etc, which we used over the course of the weekend and were great recommendations!! May was so helpful all the time and she organised for my boyfriend and I to go to an exclusive cocktail club which required guest list. Overall the flat was beautiful and May was the perfect host, I would certainly recommend a stay at May's flat.

  • May's apartment was perfect for my mother and myself. May was very accommodating for early check-in and check-out. We were there for a few days, and had absolutely no issues. The tram stops were very close to the apartment, which made it very easy for us to sightsee and shop. The neighborhood is busy by day but very quiet at night. Overall, I would highly recommend May's apartment.

  • Hello May,

thank you for having a very good time in your apartment. It is cozy and very nice decorated. Everything is comfortable. We liked the central position, that we leaved the tram behind and walked everywhere. Also your breakfast tips were great, we fell in love with the cafe and the juice bar just around the corner.

    Thanx !!

  • May was great! Very easy contact and the whole stay went smoothly. Probably the nicest airbnb apartment I've stayed in as well, and in a great neighborhood. She also just started a website for guests with recommendations on restaurants and events and such. Definitely check it out during your stay; I went to a few of the places and they were really cool. You'll experience Amsterdam like a true local! Can't wait to go back.

  • This is a lovely apartment. I can only recommend it.
It's in a great location to explore Amsterdam. Even though there is good public transport right on the door step we explored the city by foot, never feeling to far away from anything.
May is a lovely host. She was very helpful throughout.
