Casa pequena was one of the most incredible experiences. We arrived on the shore of Drake bay after a thrilling boat ride (about $15 each). The captain had way too much fun at our expense by launching the boat over the waves and into the air. We were all screaming and laughing and he looked quite pleased with himself. We then jumped on an atv that Osvaldo had coordinated for us. He took care of us the whole trip :) as soon as we pulled out from the beach the rain started and oh my god. Best experience ever. Riding on the back of the atv in a monsoon through the jungle to Osvaldo's place was unbelievable. We even had to drive through a river. THROUGH IT. It was hilarious. Luckily our bags had covers or our stuff would have been anhilated. When we pulled into Osvaldo's farm I almost cried. The most beautiful jungle paradise. It looked like something out of Jurassic park. Osvaldo and Yos took such good care of us!! They made amazing food, helped us book tours and showed us how to get around, and the cabinas were rustic and very comfortable. And huge! The cold water showers were very refreshing and Osvaldo's experimental home designs were very cool! They taught us how to make chocolate from the cocoa bean and let us eat lychees right off the trees. Most of their food is grown on their farm so it's fresh and delicious. We had such a wonderful time and consider Osvaldo and Yos part of he family now :) highly , highly recommended stopping here!! It may be a bit of effort to get to .... but it is SO worth it.

Osvaldo and the people on Casa Pequeña were all really nice hosts. The cabin is amazing and all the possibilities make this an awesome experience you may want to try if you travel to Drake Bay. You will disconnect from everything and be able to enjoy yourself and forget about all the worries of live, just be and let the Pura Vida get into you. The sunset from the beach is impressive, the walk around the cost line is beautiful (it requires a bit of a hiking) To summarize, the place is great, the people is great, the experience is great!!

- Parked our car in secure parking in Sierpe for $6 a day. - Caught the boat that Oswaldo organised through the mangroves and out to Drake Bay ($16 per person each way) - Took a short ATV taxi ride to the farm ($24) - Amazing farm tucked inside a clearing in the rainforest. - We had coffee on arrival and got a tour of the many fruit trees. We ate cashew apples straight off the tree. - We chose the cooked meals both nights ($10 per person per night), which were of a very high quality. - Monkeys and fireflies in the trees. - We made coconut oil and chocolate from scratch, amazingly insightful and delicious! - A real 'off the grid' experience with smart friendly hosts!

This was our second visit to Costa Rica, and our first to the Osa Peninsula. We Loved it- and will be back! We stayed five nights at Casa Pequina with Osvaldo, and LOVED our stay! It was our most memorable stay to date. The cabinas are fantastic- and that shower! We loved that Casa P. uses solar for its power source. Osvaldo is a fantastic host, with great local info. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen- the heart of Casa P, learning how to make chocolate and coconut oil- great experience! If you choose to have meals made by Osvaldo or friend Alex, you won't be disappointed. We walked 3km down the road to Play Caletas- wow, stunning! We did a short hike to the small rapids and swimming hole- amazing. We also did the snorkel boat tour to Cano Island- must be done! If you need a "taxi" use Cheppe and his ATV, he's awesome! Casa P is like being in a park- birds and monkeys daily. We miss the haunting howls from the Howler monkeys. Mucho gracias Ozzy! Hi to the Ronnies Michelle & Denise Vancouver Island, BC Canada

This is a unique experience to see the country inside. Take a four wheel drive cause you'll need to cross rivers and climb hills. The stars were brighter than we've ever seen and the night pitch black. Osvoldo and his crew were competing to see who could make the tastiest dinner which made it fun. Go!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Oswaldo's for nine nights and had an absolutely amazing time! Oswaldo's farm is located about 6Km (20min) from Drake Bay and its right in the middle of the rain forest.. actually you almost don't have to bother visiting the national park because you're pretty much getting the jungle experience from your cabana. The cabin was very nice and spacious and the farm is really beautifully made. Oswaldo is super helpful and can teach you all you want to know about nature and the surrounding area. He helped organize our tours and was always very fun in interacting. If you want all meals can be made for you by Alex, a wonderful chef and a great person too! All in all a wonderful experience warmly recommended!

Our stay at Oswaldo and Daniela's Cass Pequeña was like 2 days of paradise. They are very good hosts that made us feel welcome in their beautiful property. In cabins are comfortable. I especially liked the shower - it feels like your showering outside in plain nature :) They cooked every meal with fresh ingredients and we had very entertaining evenings with them. Thanks for everything!
