The Space

Nestled in the heart of Carroll Gardens, one of Brooklyn’s most desirable neighborhoods, this cozy traditional garden-level brownstone apartment can be your home away from home. The apartment's modern amenities include a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, coffee maker and washer/dryer. The master bedroom has a queen size bed with a full bath, and there is a sofa bed for 2 extra guests in the living room. Fresh clean linen and towels are also provided, along with Wi-Fi and basic cable TV.

Carroll Park, Brooklyn’s third oldest park, is one block away. Regular yellow cab service right outside your front door, or the F train a block and a half away, bring you to Manhattan in minutes. Arrive in the middle of Soho, Manhattan’s trendy shopping district, in just four train stops. But no need to go into Manhattan when Carroll Gardens is home to many Zagat top-rated and award-winning cafes, shops, restaurants, and bars such Prime meats, Buttermilk Channel, Smith Canteen, Mazzola Bakery, and Lucali.

We know you will enjoy the neighborhood and our apartment just as much as we do. Please email me for availability.

  • Emma was an amazing host. The apartment was perfectly clean, well decorated and equipped for a great stay. I will book again with Emma whenever I go back to NY!

  • We had a wonderful stay at Emma's flat in Caroll Gardens / Brooklyn. It was exactly as described: clean, with a nice interieur and a comfortable bed. Emma surprised us with a bottle of red wine, fresh fruits and cool beers in the fridge, this was perfect after a longer air flight from Germany to NYC.

We liked that the neigbourhood was quiet, ideal after daily-mile-long walks in busy Manhattan. More than a few nice restaurants (we liked pizza at Lukali), Bars (Bar Bruno), Groceries/Pharmacies (market at subway station Caroll Street 24hours open) and bakeries (Italian bakery Mazzola had tasty bagels and bread).

In kind of any questions: Emma was around to answer them directly or via e-mail within a few hours.

All in all a perfect stay at Emma's apartment in Brooklyn!!

  • Emma's place is a great place to stay when wanting to explore the exiting "new" and hip Brooklyn!Located at a smaller street the apartment is quiet and peaceful, yet you have subway line F and lots of local shops just "around the corner".

We were a family of 3, and the place was perfect for us. Clean and spacious, and fully equipped with linen and towels and kitchen stuff. Even a dishwasher! which saved this family's vacation :-)
Everything was in perfect order, and Emma was easily reached if questions came up.

We really recommend Emma's apartment if you want a quiet nice place to retire to after running around the hectic Manhattan or the hot Brooklyn downtown.

  • Away from New York's "famous" white-noise and police sirens, aside from all traffic and tourist craziness is a hidden beauty - Emma's place in a stunning neighborhood. We loved the area and enjoyed the peace to be able to recuperate some energy during comfy sleep for another day in town. You will want to come back here, to the New York as many have dreamt about it - clean, romantic and inspiring. Emma has everything set up for an amazing extended weekend. We loved it.

  • We had a wonderful stay in Emma's apartment. It was beautiful, clean, well appointed and well located in a great neighborhood. I recommend it highly.
Emma was welcoming and available if we needed anything. The beds were very comfortable; the apartment spacious.
It was a only a few blocks to a subway station and a quick ride to Manhattan. I love staying in Brooklyn, and Carroll Gardens is very charming.
I will definitely stay here again!

  • Just back from a great holiday in New York in Emma's apartment. This is truly a gem of a place - spacious, clean, private, and in a lovely neighbourhood! Emma is a great host, she gave us useful tips on how to get around and also great recommendations for local restaurants in Carroll Gardens which were simply amazing. The apartment is well located near the F line, so it is very easy to get to Manhattan, with the added bonus of having a peaceful place to rest after a day sightseeing. Truly recommend it.

  • Appartment was very nice, in a quiet and wonderfull neighborhoud. The appartment was as described in the offer. Very well equiped for all (cook, breakfast, towel, ...). Around 5/10 mns by walk from nice shops, restaurants, grocery, bakery, wine sellers, all with good products. Bed where very confortables and it was very silent place. Well situated, 5 mns walks from F line subway, and from the subway 15 mns maximum to Manhattan. I really recomand this location for 3/4 to people. Brooklyn is a charming place, and after walking all day all over New York, it is nice to finish the day in a more quiet place than Manhattan. I had that it is close from East river, from where view on Skyline is wonderfull, and that we have appreciate a lot the offer of one bottle of good red wine at our arrival. If we had to go back to NewYork, we will try to rent again the same location.

  • We had a wonderful stay at Emma's place. She was very communicative and helpful throughout the booking process until checkout. The place was very modern, with all the amenities you might need (coffee maker, toaster, microwave, wine glasses, dishwasher, washer/dryer even). Despite the unlucky rainy weather we had, we were out/about most of the weekend but it was nice to come back to a clean and comfortable place. The F train is nearby for easy transport into Manhattan and otherwise its kind of a cool neighborhood to walk around itself. The neighborhood is quite family friendly (nearby park with playground for the kids), good space to sit for a while at Maybelle's cafe for breakfast/coffee, black gold vinyl/coffee, and alot of nearby good food (esp high quality fish at Bergen Hill), caprese slice at Francesco's etc. You can't go wrong staying here.
