About this listing
Beautiful apartment in a converted historic warehouse, right in the heart of one of Melbourne's great neighbourhoods, Collingwood.
Beautiful high ceilings, spacious, and with a rough industrial charm, the apartment is open-plan. There is a large kitchen / dining space and an equally sizeable living room space. The bed is made up with fresh linen and there's also hanging space for your clothes.
The space has huge north facing windows, 4m high ceilings and timber floorboards.
There is also a security entrance with lift access, although it's only a short flight of stairs up to level one.
Our place is ideal for a couple or those traveling solo. Spending some time in Collingwood is a must!
The Apartment comes equipped with WiFi, TV/DVD, ipod/iphone player, washer, iron & ironing board and a fully-equipped kitchen. As mentioned we leave fresh linen and towels for your stay. Once you're all booked in, make sure to check out our house manual on our air bnb profile to get the wifi code and general info on using the apartment.
Interaction with guests
You will have to whole place to yourself! We generally try to keep our interaction to a minimum so you can enjoy your stay in peace. However, we do love meeting our guests on arrival and are always on call for any advice/help that you might need. We'll also email you a more comprehensive guide of our favourite things to do in the area!
The apartment is located just a few minutes walk to Smith Street, Gertrude Street and Brunswick Street - the best coffee, food and wine is at your doorstep. Check out De Clieu, Proud Mary, Mina·no·ie, Rockwell & Sons, Huxtable (and Huxtaburger!), The Grace Darling Hotel, lazerpig and so much more!. Not to mention great galleries and vintage furniture shops - Gertrude Contemporary Gallery, Dianne Tanzer, Smith Street Bizarre, Angelucci, the list goes on!
Fitzroy and the City are a short stroll away, but if you don't feel like the 20 minute walk into town, you could hire a bike - Our friend has a vintage bike hire company called The Humble Vintage. The number 86 tram (from Smith Street) also heads into town.
We love our place and our belongings so we would ask that you would be respectful of our home and and love it as much as we do! We would love for you to leave it in the same condition you found it.
There is no smoking in our apartment.
Please don't entertain or bring anyone else home outside of who the booking was made for. We want to stay friends with our lovely neighbours!
Lastly more than a request than a rule - but we would very much appreciate it if you could water our family of plants throughout your stay!
