  • Dolores was a great host and makes a delicious Irish breakfast. The B&B was in a great location and we were able to both spend time in Galway city as well as take day trips. Overall, it was a great experience!

  • Staying here was awesome. Everything was exactly as we expected it to be. Great accommodations, clean, and friendly hosts. We didn't get to meet Doloros this time, but Bernard was so great and welcoming. Sean made us an amazing Irish breakfast and was so nice. We would definitely stay here again next time we were in Galway.

  • Perfect. It was my best stay in my trip in Ireland and UK.
Dolores and Bernard are the perfect hosts, very very kind and always want to know how was your day, how are you feeling about Galway and the tours and about the room... awesome.
The room and the entire house is very clean, cosy and quiet. WiFi works fine and fast, you have a lot of space (including in the bathroom), the breakfast is amazing and prepared by Dolores with care.

If you want to go to Galway, you must stay in Dolore's B&B (The Forge). It's just a few blocks from city center (a nice and beautiful walk to there) and in a secure place. Near there I recommend to you the Kelly's Bar, with a good price, good music and some meals deals.

Galway is a small city, and, 1 day is sufficient to know almost everything there, so if you have more time, I recommend to take some tours with Galway Tours. They take you in The Forge by the morning, it's very convenient.

I recommend you to stay there, and when I come back to Galway, i'm sure where I'll stay again.

  • I spent two nights at Dolores's B&B. I had a great time - Dolores is friendly and makes a great irish breakfast; the room was clean, the wifi worked fine for me.

  • Our stay with Dolores was excellent. Besides being very friendly, she provides a warm and welcoming accommodation as well as a great knowledge of Galway. Her Irish breakfast was great as well, especially when there was a lot of exploring to be done that day. Overall, it was an extremely positive experience.

  • Overall, I had a very positive stay at Dolores' place. The main thing that would have been helpful is better communication. I called and texted a couple of times when I arrived but received no responses. It would be helpful if the number listed on the her profile was actually actively used. The other issue we had was that the WIFI is extremely weak and we couldn't connect.

She made us an amazing Irish breakfast though.

  • Great place to be nearby the action, while the location itself is quiet.
Dolores is a very hospitable host and her Irish breakfast is excellent.

  • My cousin and I spent a few days at Dolores's B&B. . She was very welcoming and accommodating, even when we came in quite late at night. The location of the B&B was very close to the city center but did not have a lot of traffic going past the house. Each morning we were given a great breakfast, which was lovely. We had a wonderful stay at her place and I would recommend staying here if you are ever in Galway. :)
