Please no smoking or pets! Please leave the flat clean and tidy and do not leave heating or air con running while you are not in the flat. It gets expensive.
Great flat in a perfect position. Very clean and comfortable. And julian is very helpful for everything. Thank you again Julian!
The apartment was roomy and spacious by Hong Kong standards with a decent kitchen, a washing machine and a bathroom with a proper shower. Laurence was very helpful in waiting for us (in the cold!) and showing us around the apartment and Julian also answered all our queries quickly. As mentioned by others, wifi was fast with no drop-outs and we were located very close to the tram station and bus stops with the MTR another 5-7 mins walk. Downstairs, there's a lot of eateries around so you never have to travel far for a meal. The only issue we had was with the cleanliness but to be fair, we had just come from Singapore, the land of extreme clean :)
The flat is located in Wanchai, in a very convenient location. It is within a few minutes walk to the nearest Metro station. The street where the flat is located is full of restaurants and one need not worry at all for lack of food or choice of restaurants, both local or western style. The flat is good for single or a couple as it is rather small but not unusual for Hong Kong standards. Wifi is fast and easy to connect.
Julian's apartment is quite big for HK standards, fit 3 of us very well. The washing machine, fridge, electric pot, and microwave oven were very useful for our 8-day stay.
The neighbourhood in Wan Chai is really great, everything you need is just around the corner. Plenty of good food around, has 2 MTR stations less than 10-minutes away, grocery store and post office 5-minutes away, bus stop 2-minutes away.
Julian wasn't around but got his friend Nancy to show us around the apartment and help us settle down. They both responded quickly to all my texts and emails.
Why choose airbnb over a hotel rental? This place is the perfect example :)
Great apartment~ Clean and tidy. Better than hotel, you can get everything you can think of , it's super convenient. The location is great , it's easy for you to get to different places. And the building is perfectly safe and secure~~ In addition , Julian is super nice , we had a pleasent stay there. Next time I come to HongKong, I will live in his sweet apartment again.
The instructions provided by Julian is really clear.
He sent a couple of emails with his contact details as well as his friend's contact just in case he wasn't around. That alone shows how responsible a host he is.
The apartment is as shown in the picture, bathroom was good with hot water.
The environment is good with 7-11 and MTR just stone's throw away.
Overall will surely recommend this place!
Location is central to a lot of interesting places. From the apartment, we walked to the Star Ferry, the world's longest escalator, the funicular up to Victoria Peak, and the Man Mo temple. We could have just as easily caught a taxi, but the walking was nice. The area seemed safe and clean. Julian was a great host, oriented us, and worked overtime on fixing the internet when it stopped working. Would definitely stay here again.
