The apartment is positioned over ground floor in a beautiful house from the Art Nouveau(Modern Style) period of S XIX century.The apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, large living room with spacious modern kitchen, large quiet patio with a small garden, at the up-floor patio is pool(size: 4m Length x 2.9m Width x 1.3m Depth).
-The modern kitchen is fully fitted with: a large double refrigerator with freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, toaster, a coffee machine, kettle / water-boiler, cooking utensils , glasses, cutlery, iron, iron board...
-The master bedroom- Suite with a private bathroom with a spacious hydro-massage shower,a private toilet, super large double-bed(mattress (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) in × 79 in), bedroom is with sliding doors out to the private patio.
-2nd bedroom with double-bed (140cm x 200cm) is next to the bathroom.

Beautiful spacious apartment with a pool is located in truly nice, safe and really traditional Catalan neighborhood Sants. The neighborhood is with a many good traditional Catalan and Spanish restaurants, pubs, coffee bars where you can have pleasant paella or traditional sea food. Situated near the main train station where you can take a train to the Airport, Sitges, Valencia,... or the AVE(high-speed train) to Madrid, Sevilla, Paris,...15 minutes walking distance from pl. Espanya. And less than 5 minutes walk from Mercat de Sants(local market)this market offers quality fresh fish and meat, as well fresh fruit and vegetables.

Transport is absolutely excellent, Sants Estació is less than a 15 minutes walk away, metro station plaça Sants(L1, L5) is less than 5 minutes walk away. Las Ramblas is only a few underground stops away with a L1 line or Sagrada Família or Camp Nou with a L5 line.

Neighborhood

The area of Sants is a 10 minute metro ride out of the main centre of town(Las Ramblas) and is very much an area within itself. The Barcelona Sants train station (Estacio de Sants) is the focal point of the area and is one of Barcelona's largest and most well-connected stations with direct trains to the airport and destinations outside of Barcelona.You could walk to gorgeous Plaça Espanya and Montjuïc where there are attractions such as Poble Espanyol, the Magic Fountain and THE FIRA BARCELONA events halls. In the other direction you may want to stroll to Camp Nou, Barcelona FC ground, or do a spot of shopping in the L'Illa complex on (URL HIDDEN) for social life, there are many lovely restaurants in the area, as well many bars. Sants even has its own little festival in August where the streets get dressed up and everyone goes dancing at night next to make shift stalls selling rum and coke!

Neighborhood

Sants is a neighborhood with a clear identity because of its historical origins. It was the main core of an independent village until 1897 when it became part of Barcelona, the former municipality of Sants included most of the actual neighborhood of Sants-Montjuïc district. By then, Sants had a population of 19,105 inhabitants, and the neighbourhood had a strong industrial character, home to some of the most important manufacturers of Spanish textiles, such as España Industrial and Vapor Vell.
In the spring of 1883, the municipalities of Sants and Barcelona decided by mutual agreement to merge the two respective municipalities. One year later, the central government annulled the merger due to technical issues. The process was again put in motion the following year. City hall sent a request for aggregation to the Diputació Provincial de Barcelona, but this request was not fulfilled for more than two years. In March 1889, the Civil Government asked the Deputation to solve the case,which ultimately reflected the interests of the city. A commission presided by Rius i Taulet traveled to Madrid to help move along the case. However, once more, the Deputation took no action.
The main artery of the neighborhood is Carrer de Sants, popularly known as Carretera de Sants, which unites Plaça Espanya with the neighbouring municipality of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. It is one of the most commercial streets in Barcelona. Among the places that stand out in Sants are the Barcelona Sants railway station, the major railway station in Barcelona, and the Parc de l'España Industrial.

Getting around

The location was perfect for us as we were attending a conference at Fira Gran Via. Slavko was there to greet us and give a tour of the apartment. Fast wifi and having a printer were amazing since we were there for work. Amazing hosts - super responsive. Highly recommend staying here!

This place is honastly amazing. Nothing the less.. We had a wonderful time. The patio is perfect and off cource the pool.. The hosts are the most wellcoming people.. We will never stay any other place in Barcelona again. The area is a great local area away from the fuss in City. And only a 15min beautyful bikeride away. Thank you for your hostility you guys

Outstanding and stunning place, the hosts couldn't have done enough for us. The underground garage is tight, but I parked a ford Transit down there, so most cars should be ok. It's a few mins walk around the corner. There is a nice pizza shop a few mins walk away and a corner shop a stones throw up the road. The metro station is right next to the pizza shop, and has a direct train to the city centre. Really nice and will def use it again if I'm ever back there.
