This place is amazing, besides Jessy was super attentive since the moment I got there and Alex was super helpful communicating with me through emails and helping me to access my room earlier than the check in time, and I won't forget the mom she is a sweet heart, thank you for everything. The apartment is located in a perfect spot, with a train station 2 blocks away, with so much to see just out of it and with plenty of cafes around, I definitely recommend this to anyone who is staying in Barcelona, I will go back and I hope I can stay there again, cheers!

The place was clean and well-managed, the room was comfortable, and the location was very well situated near plaza Espanya and within walking distance of Sants station. I had a great stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Barcelona.

Do you value sleep? If so, do not stay here. I stayed in the small single room which was right next to the bathroom. All 3 nights I was there I had such a hard time sleeping not only from other guest being loud but also the hosts. People were showering and blow drying their hair until 2 am. People would talk late. Last night there was a guy (I think a French man) talking to his lady friend from the bathroom to down the hall where their bedroom was at 3:30 am!!! Look I understand that the hosts cannot be up all night monitoring their rude guests but quite time is supposed to start at 10 pm but the hosts would be up and would be loud past that - they should lead by example. The pipes from the bathroom make a ton of noise so every time somebody would go to the bathroom at night even if they were trying to be quite I would still wake up. The bed was very uncomfortable and the room was very hot and stuffy, probably since the door is closed from the main house 24/7. The room is very small but I was expecting that. Maybe other rooms in the house further away from the bathroom are ok but DO NOT stay in the small single room. I was charged EUR 15 for arriving after 10pm ( I got in at 10:30) but I was kept awake until past 2 am so that was pretty annoying. Yesterday I got back to the house at 5 pm ready to have a chill night and hope to take a nap. My phone was dead and I could not get into their apartment door (I got into the building but not the actual apartment). I was able to get in the day before without a problem so I think they had the deadbolt locked!! I rang the bell multiple times but their was no answer even though the hosts mom was home. I ended up having to walk to the mall to buy a phone charger which I do not need and cannot use back at home in the states since it's a EUR wall plug (EUR 20 wasted..) I charged my phone for a few mins to contact the host. They took 15-20 mins to respond to me before letting me know their mom will let me in. Finally after 6 pm I got in. The only pros with this place are its cheap and only a couple blocks from a metro line. There's also a nice place to get a drink in the afternoon across the street. Forgot the name but it starts with an 'S'. Only EUR 2 for beers!

Response from Jessy Y Alex:
Dear Guest! I think that you must to considered to stay in a hotel or at least don't rent the cheapest room tha I offer ( 19 euros per nigth). Before you book the room I explain in the description how is the house and with how many guests you will share. About your problem to open the door? sorry but was just you betwen 6 other guests staying in the flat at the same time . My mon spend 3 times with you triying to explain how to open the door but you never got it ! that is not my fault! You was the "only guest" with this problem! and how you know this is a family house! Not an hotel with 24h reception. I shared my house with the guests and you can come and go out when you desire, this place will be your house, you have free access all the time 24h. By my experience doing Airbnb your profile is not to share a house or take a cheapest room because trying to save money, you got a bad experience.

Host is very friendly and accommodating. When I arrived, the room was clean and in proper condition. The owner was very patient when I had problems with the door in what he said was an Asian problem. Learnt how to properly open doors in Spain.
