My apartment of 40 square meters on the first floor of a building located in the 70s a central area of Rome, elegant neighborhood, a stone's throw from the prestigious La Sapienza University and the famous Piazza Bologna, the home of the Metro station B.
E 'consists of an entrance hall, a room, a bathroom and a kitchen with a large English-style glass wall which makes it very bright and sunny. The modern, yet warm and welcoming cheer your stay in the 'Eternal City' and a single bed (with comfortable mattress Memory Foam) will take care of your sleep.
You will have my full freedom in the kitchen to prepare breakfast yourself, unless you want it prepared by me. The aim is to make you feel my guests in a friendly place.
This listing is for 1 shared room with a girl.
The neighborhood Nomentano is located in one of the capital's most connected at the level of public transport. Its privileged location offers the opportunity to move in any direction and from any monument or place of interest in the city.
The metro B 'Bologna' is in fact situated just three minutes walk away. The station Temini is just three stops away and the bus Colosseum to five. In addition Piazza Bologna is the only airport metro line B to switch from the traditional to the new line that will connect B1, in a simple and direct, the city with another area: the African quarter. Piazza Bologna is also a very connected with the rest of the city thanks to the many bus lines that pass through it. Also my apartment is only three hundred meters from the new Tiburtina Station, the hub of travel by train, which also include links to the airport of Fiumicino and Ciampino airports. Next to the train station there is also the coach, the main town. The airport sees every day from hundreds of buses going all over Italy, especially to the South and the surrounding areas, and throughout Europe. To this was added a taxi stop right in Piazza Bologna. Move and reach any place of interest will be easy.
My apartment is located in a very safe neighborhood and noble of the capital. The area at the same time is very much alive and hundreds, if not thousands, of people flocking to the streets every day. During the summer evenings, but not limited to, the center of Piazza Bologna becomes a meeting point for many young and old. Just below the house, coming out of the gate on the right, you will find a delicious Irish pub with a large variety of real ales and the constant presence of many young people. Without moving a meter then you will find everything you need. Nearby fact there are many shops of all kinds, banks, post offices, supermarkets, discount stores, restaurants, pizzerias, bars, lottery, tobacco and even a pharmacy open 24 hours on 24. For any case to a single metro station and less than 10 minutes by bus is the hospital Policlinico Umberto I.
The hospitality and kindness are the cornerstones of my way to accommodate. My greatest satisfaction will be given the success of your stay.
There APPEARANCE, are ready to welcome you!
Camera, bagno e cucina esclusivamente per la sola colazione.
La vitalità data dalla presenza degli studenti universitari che stando sempre in giro ne fanno un quartiere tranquillo anche per soffermarsi a bere una birra fino a tarda era.
I really enjoyed my stay in Maria-Christina studio. It is cosy, kind of quiet for a big city like Rome, fresh when it is too hot outside :-) Well located with buses and metro really close to everything and the mattress is excellent, this is a must for me. I will recommend that place anytime
My stay here was great! It was my first time in Rome and in Italy! The apartment was very clean, a perfect size and in a great location! On Metro line B and only a few stops from Termini! Unfortunately I didn't get to meet Cristina as she was away for work but I was briefly greeted by her sister which I suppose was enough!
I would recommend this apartment for sure!
I enjoyed my stay in Rome very much. The apartment is very clean and very central, just few metro stops away from the major landmarks of Rome. While I was there I did not have the opportunity to meet my host - she was away - but I am sure she would have been fun to be around.
Cristina is a nice and friendly guest, her appartment in situated not far from the Termini station, just 3 metro stops, and it's close to Tiburtina station.
Maria is a warm and cheerful host, she tries her best to give me as much information as I need in Rome. She warned me about the Canonization of two popes on the Sunday during my trip and the advice helped me beat the crowd in Vatican. She keeps her place really clean and tidy. The mattress is so comfortable that I slept like a baby every night. She makes me breakfast every morning and is a really nice person to chat with. Although language barrier can be a problem at times, (website hidden) Translate can break all language obstacles. The neighbourhood is a nice and quiet one and I feel safe and am glad to be away from the Rome crowd while I stayed at Maria's place. Wi-fi is only accessible from the outside of the flat but that was OK for me since I didn't need much of it.
I highly recommend her place to you for your Rome visit.
I have to wholeheartedly thank Cristina and Bernadette for being such incredible hosts. Thank you very much for all the care and attention you have put into making me feel welcomed and comfortable. I highly recommend Cristian’s place and will MOST definitely stay there during my upcoming visit of Rome.
Many thanks !!!
The overall experience is nice. The room is tidy and comfortable. You can experience from details that the host loves the house a lot. The equipment in kitchen should be very useful if you cook. Maria is also considerate to provide a helpful map. I recommend her house to you in Rome.
Maria is a very friendly and kind host. Tho she didn't really speak English, we managed to communicate just fine. Overall staying experience was alright the only thing was that there were no wifi in the apartment.
