  • Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Zen Charm. A clean, comfortable. cozy accommodation in a very quiet, jungle-like setting. Royal is a meticulous and caring host who whips u a mean smoothie in the morning, along with some super Kona coffee.
A very nice and welcoming experience overall.

  • I had an incredible stay at this property.

Royal keeps the home impeccably clean. No Bugs! The house looks like it was recently renovated and is tastefully decorated. The guest room was clean. There is a nice table and area for your clothes.

The property is conveniently located to Pahoa and the beaches.

As a host, Royal is exceptional. He went out of his way to make me (and the other guest) comfortable. He took me to all the local markets and gave me lots of tips about what to do in Puna and the big island in general. Don't hold back your questions because he is a great resource on all topics!

Would highly recommend and would absolutely stay there again!

  • Royal is a special host, his attentions for his guests born from a deep feeling of human fraternity. His house of "simple elegance" is like a zen garden. My staying in the house in the jungle, listening the waves of the ocean and waiting the rise of the sun has been a spiritual experience supported by modern tecnology, solar panels, and wifi connections.
