Interaction with Guests
ME: Easy-going and cruisy. I love meeting new people and I'm more than happy to help with anything you need to know about Christchurch, how to get places and where to go for good coffee, good yoga, good shopping, good experiences.
Private and quiet, yet good coffee, restaurants, bars and supermarket at either end of the street. 2 minutes walk to lovely river walks and parks. 5 min drive to central city, 20 minutes to the beach, 20 mins to the airport, 15 minutes to the peninsula.
From the airport shuttles, taxis or buses available.
Plenty of FREE parking available on the street
Bus to central city is just 5 mins away. I can't paste the link in here, but search for 'Metro bus' - The Blue Line is probably the best to get into the CBD

My wife and I stayed here for one night.
Kit had left the heat on for us which warmed up the accommodation.
We didn't get to meet Kit but they had left us with arrival instructions as well as places to eat and things to do in the area.
The place is a short drive into Christchurch town centre and well located.
The room was clean and bed was reasonably comfortable. The shower needed a bit of attention but was not unusable
This was a lovely and cosy little place to stay not too far from the centre of Christchurch. The room was warm and the bed was comfy. There were plenty of shops and cafes nearby too. Kit was a lovely host and was very friendly and welcoming!
Kit was very friendly and greeted us upon arrival. The room was lovely - nicely decorated, big comfy bed, and a great location to the city. Kit was also very helpful for places to eat and things to see.
Cannot forget this experience. Kit has a beautiful house and lovely garden. The studio is individual and clean.
Our host was not available while we were there. We got there around 8PM after a long day of traveling, and the door was wide open when we arrived....literally. We were anxious to use the bathroom and shower facilities, however our first impression was no toilet paper. There was a note indicating where extra could be found...but it was not there. We had to walk to the store to buy toilet paper. This was not a good first impression! We were not able to connect to the wi-fi, and since no one was there to ask, we did without. The room was adequate, but the long awaited showers were a disaster as the shower did not drain and had to be turned off periodically. The shared bathroom was located right next to our room, and the other guests use of it during the night was easily heard and disturbing. The other guests were trying to be quiet, but the situation doesn't allow it since they were staying in a back building and had to walk across gravel to get to the bathroom. We did not feel uncomfortable in the neighborhood, but parking is dangerous since it is right at a traffic circle.
Kit was a friendly and helpful host. She provided recommendations for places to eat nearby, sights to visit and also helped navigate the city's buses. The accommodation was quite comfortable with a nice bathroom just a step away. The house is conveniently located a few minutes walk from a grocery store if you choose to take advantage of the kitchen facilities. Overall this is a great place to stay if you have your own car or don't mind a short bus ride into town. We had a great time. Thanks Kit!
Room was as advertised and Kit's directions were very accurate. Bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean and accommodating. The directions in the room were very helpful.

About the Host, Kit
Designer by day and curious monkey by night. I'm an easy-going 36 yr old from Christchurch, New Zealand. Passionate about upliftment and living consciously. Yoga, good food, good music and good conversation are what makes my world go round.
I had so much fun as a guest using AirBNB overseas. Now I'm loving being a host!
