An adventure awaits! Let your imagination run wild in this one-of-a-kind overnight experience. Suitable for both the young and the young at heart, our medieval themed dungeon will not disappoint. Every inch of the lower level of the store has been carefully restored and crafted into the ultimate gaming experience.
The space
The Dungeon is a medieval themed apartment conveniently located deep beneath High Ground Hobbies and Cafe; which is one of the South's premier gaming and hobby shops. Complete with a full service cafe, board game library and private themed gaming rooms there is something for everyone. This is the perfect environment for a weekend getaway or your next private gaming experience.
The living room and bedroom both have smart TVs and there is a Nintendo Wii on the main TV. Free Wi-Fi is available. The kitchen is equipped with anything that you may need to cook and/or bake if you don't want to utilize the ease of the cafe above (they deliver food to you). The main dining table can have the top taken off of it and be used for a pool and ping pong. You can also grab games from the board game library in the store and keep them overnight in the apartment. There is one bathroom in the apartment but you can also use any of the bathrooms in the store during business hours as well. You can sleep 2 adults in the king bedroom, 1-2 adults on the full bed and 1 adult on the twin bunk bed (located in living room). Additionally, you can sleep another adult on the hideaway bed in the couch. If you really want to push it there is also a pillow top air mattress that can be set up in the kitchen for another 1-2 adults.
Once in this space you won’t want to leave. There is a reserved parking spot at the front of the store for one vehicle. Any other vehicles may park in the store parking lot.
There is a ductless heating/AC unit in the apartment that will heat or cool the apartment to your liking.

Perfect for fellowship meetings, epic movie nights, or simply relaxing by the fire after a day of questing.
The Outpost is not included with your reservation but may be reserved as an optional add-on, subject to availability.

🔥 Firewood is not included with The Outpost rental.
Guests may either bring their own firewood (prefered) or purchase a pre-staged bundle for $15 (limited quantities)
To reserve The Outpost for your stay, simply message us to check availability and the guild keepers will arrange it for you.
Guest access
Guests of the dungeon can check in with the store staff during business hours. They will escort you to the dungeon so you don't encounter any trolls or goblins along the way. Guests will use a private entrance at the front of the building that says "Employees Only" on the door. During business hours this door is unlocked for convenience. Once you enter you will walk through the stores private art studio. During business hours you may encounter studio artists. They are harmless, but please don't feed them ;) Feel free to look around the studio but please do not touch anything and be careful. The studio itself is under 24 hour camera surveillance. Once through the studio you will find the entrance to the dungeon. You can't miss the huge wooden door. In there on the table you will find your keys and check in/out instructions.
Other things to note
Guests should be aware that the dungeon lies beneath the store. During business hours you may hear weary travelers, goblins and all manner of of other creature walking above you through the wooden floors. Most evenings the store closes at 10PM (11PM on Fridays) and the store does not open until 11AM on weekdays and 10AM on weekends. In general, you can expect quite periods from 10PM-10AM allowing you rest before your next journey.
Most travelers are out and about during store business hours or are immersed in gaming or have the TV running so it's not an issue. However, if you be a creature of the night and sleep during the day this may not be the optimal dwelling for you.
