About this listing
For me it is all about carrying for my guests and make sure they have comfortable place to relax after a long city day. This three room space fits up to 6 people. Public transport is walk away as well as all kinds of bistros and restaurants.
Sometimes I would like to rent this apartment for myself, just to discover my city once again.
This part of Warsaw is an official downtown, hotest spot for living and dining. You have fancy boutiques, coffee places and restaurants on every corner together with regular shops and groceries. It is the best part of the town there is no doubts. You will be spending your time among regular Varsavians and if you want to get to the main tourist districts its 2 stops by bus, tram or subway. All within 5min walk.
Apartment has three separate rooms, comfortable beds, cabinets, nice appliance will make your stay stress free. I put a bit effort in Polish accents so you will find several albums, some reading and domestic artists work on the wall.
Nice bathroom with washing-machine and stand-in shower.
Two big closets are the good place to keep your things and put suitcases out of sight.
All the rooms are spacious and sunny with big windows coming out on a street and at the backyard.
During student year I host mostly students from Erasmus program I had guests from Germany, France, Spain and US, I like this diversity. Feel free to address me with your request from all parts of the World.
In the airbnb guide I have indicated some of my favorite spots in the area.
I will be happy to guide you through, have a walk around, show you closest parks and galleries or recommend an attraction like a classical music concert in a nearby palace. New places are opening up like daisies on the meadow so there is this new Italian spot with bio ice creams, Warsaw - burgers including vege with goat chees, mexican, sushi and endless coffee places. Recently opened french bakery, all 100 steps away from your place!
From September on the apartment is exclusively reserved for longer terms booking so please don't check the availability if you are longer term tenant just contact me directly with your inquiry.
My guests have the apartment all for themselves. So there is no limitation on what the guest has access too. Apartment is prepared to be a hotel service, there are no private cabinets or belongings. The goal is to everybody feel comfortable for the whole stay.
Interaction with Guests
I'm very carrying for my guests although I'm there just to provide them with comfortable space, of course you can hear some tips from me but as Im the person who likes to be on her own I also leave this sense of freedom to my guests.
Well, the neighborhood is hot. It is called Mokotow district, it is situated just next to the strict center but is a residential area, with lots of bars and coffees as well as designer shops. People leaving here has this cool approach of being very local, hanging on the same playgrounds with their children and in the same coffee places every day.
When you leave the apartment and turn left into the street you will reach Pulawska, the Warsaw main street. Buses and trams stops are around 200m away. If you go right at the end of the street you reach metro station. If you decide to take cab you reach the apartment from main Warsaw spots within 7Euro fare. And it is so close to so many things you can just take a walk through the main districts or through the parks.
The whole apartment is for yourself, you can use it however you want until it fulfills descent social habits. It is an apartment based in a regular inhabited building. So please respect the neighbors they are very nice people. There is not much space to park but apartment has its own reserved spot. There is an intercom to the main gate and to the building. You receive the intercom code upon your arrival. There is a cupboard place above coffee table with wi-fi password, small manual and basic places around. And what most important you will receive my mobile phone number there where your concerns ends cause I most likely solve them instantly. Smoking in the apartment is strictly prohibited.
From Sep 1 - Nov 30, 2015 the minimum stay is 25 nights.
Kind of a mixed experience. Neighbourhood is nice, and an easy tramride away from the centre. But the bed was broken and the sleeping couch was, for adults at least, very uncomfortable, so we had to sleep on the floor. It's all clean, and (mostly) functional. Host was out of town, but a friend was there on arrival to give us the keys and there was all kinds of information about places to visit, places to eat and other practical tips. In the pictures everything is fresh and new. It isn't anymore. I would say it is in need of a little TLC. Host excused herself for the bed and said it was broken bij the previous guest, but would be replaced shortly.
We liked Aleksandra's apartment a lot. It's in perfect and quiet location, near grocery shops and nice cafes. Tram and Bus to the center takes just 15 minutes, but most of the days we used bike rent from Nextbike, that was great way to explore Warsaw center.
Apartment has 3 seperated rooms and kitchen (pictures in airbnb describe it very good). Free parking in backyard also was important to us. In apartment there's everything to feel you at home. And it was pretty cool, despite 30-36 degrees outside, so we had a great sleep.
Aleksandra was a great host, informed us about most important things nearby at arrival and also we quickly resolved some questions regarding appartment. She is very recommended host.
Thanks again, Aleksandra!
Staying in Alexandra’s flat is like home from home! It has everything you need for a short or even long stay, and if you don’t fancy cooking there’s an affordable, very friendly Italian restaurant just across the street. Although we didn’t meet Alexandra, we still felt welcome as the kitchen has a pin-up board full of useful hints from her and previous Airbnb guests. And whenever we needed to get in touch, she always responded immediately – she’s very reliable. Warsaw is a very big city, but as there’s a tram stop five minutes’ walk from the flat on the main road, it’s easy to get to the sights. If you avoid the main road, the neighbourhood is surprisingly quiet. By the way, there really is plenty to see in Warsaw – we really should have stayed longer!
I spent some days with friends in Aleksandra's flat. We really enjoyed our stay there. The flat is very nice, there was all the stuff we needed and we felt very comfortable. We met her personally and she showed us the neighborhood and recommended nice places for having lunch, cafés, supermarket and shops. Thank you! :-) I could stay in contact with her the whole time. I can absolutely recommend Aleksandra's flat. We enjoyed our stay in Warszawa. Thank you a lot!
Our host met with us and gave us thorough introduction to the apartment. We felt very welcome upon arrival. The apartment is spacious and airy, high ceilings and large rooms. It is situated in a highly desirable residential area, with many conveniences nearby (at least three markets within a two block radius, a couple of bakeries, a drugstore...). Plus many small restaurants and cafés have recently sprung up in the neighborhood. Even a small vegetable stand was set up from a truck just a few steps away from the apartment building. When you turn left when exiting the building, you will reach Pulawska St., which is a busier thoroughfare, with the shopping conveniences mentioned earlier, as well as trams and buses to downtown. If you turn to the right from the building, the long blocks are pleasant, green, and residential, and two to three blocks further is the subway. Access to downtown is easy and hassle free, with many options. It was a pleasure to come "home" after a long day of sightseeing; the street becomes quiet at night and one of the bedrooms faces the courtyard. We had a great time, and recommend this listing to anyone who wants the typical Warsaw experience, away from crowds of tourists, but nevertheless conveniently located within easy access to desirable tourist spots, just a short bus/tram ride away.
Alexandra is a great host and was willing to go an extra mile to meet our specific needs. However, apartment does look a little bit worn out compared to the pictures. Location, transportation options and neighbourhood in general are decent. Overall: worth reccomending
Aleksandra is a great host. When we arrived she showed us the street and shops around. The flat is clean, there was everything we needed ( towels, sheets, soap, etc). It was a confortable expérience , go there if you want to visit varsaw!
