About this listing
This house really feels like Home. There is a serenity upon entering. The hustle and bustle of city life feel so far away. It has superb natural light thanks to skylights, french doors and the perfect sprinkling of windows. It's quite possible to never turn on a light bulb during daylight hours. For the evening time all lights are on dimmers for softness. Furnishings and textiles have an elegance and playful quirkiness to them. Whether it's the rosewood floors throughout, the high ceilings with exposed beams, the five spray shower, the pizza oven, the shower under a tree with a classic claw bath tub, the goose feather sofa, the gentle flow from room to room or the antique brass bucket for a bathroom sink- there is nothing cookie cutter about our house.

My company had a crew stay at Lilia's home. Worked out perfect! Location was great, the house was beautiful and met our needs perfectly and exactly what we expected. Lilia was on top of any of our requests with the help of Jamie, her property manager. We would recommend this home.
Love the place. It is as described a designer's home :)
the garden is well kept, as is the interior. Definitely a pleasant stay. Location is great too. Just few minutes drive to the Pacific Coast Highway via the State Park. Wonderful drive. I stayed at Lilia's place with my family of 7 adults and 3 young children, everyone felt at home. We especially enjoyed the evening dinners in Lilia's garden.
Lilia was very sweet and responsive from beginning to end and her house is just amazing! It is so beautiful and comfortable. Although the neighborhood is quite and residential, it is also centrally located near to supermarkets, shopping and restaurants. There is a busy street in front of the house, but the noise does not travel indoors and affect the peaceful atmosphere of the house.
Our host Lilia is awesome! Her beautiful home located in a convenient location, and beautifully decorated as the pictures show on the website, and very safe, you can park your car inside the yard. We definitely had a GREAT time there! My family loved it!
I rented Lilia's house for 6 days over the new year for me, some family, and friends. It was a great idea, much better than staying at a hotel because everybody could be together in one place instead of splitting off.
Lilia was very accommodating despite the fact that I booked less than 24 hours before arriving in LA. When I arrived, the cleaning person was still cleaning up from the previous guest which is always a reassuring sign. The house manager showed me around and gave me keys and instructions. She also dropped off some breakfast items which was very thoughtful.
The house is very nice and well maintained. We used the kitchen quite a bit. The garbage disposal wasn't working at first. After troubleshooting a few solutions, the house manager called a plumber in who promptly fixed the problem. The bathroom with the tub in it is completely remodeled and now fully enclosed. We didn't try using the bathroom outside.
At the end of the stay, the house manager stated that I damaged a couple of wood planks in one of the bedrooms (scratched one and cracked another). I didn't do my own inspection of the place prior to moving my stuff in, so had really nothing to say in defense, and ended up paying for repairs -$250. There were lots of people in the house, and I didn't watch over everything that was done, and I doubt she would be fabricate these damages. But it underscores the importance of doing your own inspection.
The water was nice and hot in the bathroom. The heater kept us warm at night. We opened the windows during the day to let the breeze in. All-in-all, it was a great stay.
