Experience true Irish hospitality from a hilltop cabin overlooking Carlingford Lough!

Cozy sun room within the bedroom to enjoy a cuppa while contemplating the magnificent hilltop views. Complimentary tea and coffee. Large private garden and deck to enjoy the fresh country air.

Excellent location for a hillwalking holiday. Several marked walks over Slieve Foy mountain and only 5 minutes into the famous medieval village of Carlingford which offers gourmet restaurants, typical Irish pubs and quaint coffee shops.
If golf is your passion, why not head for the 18 holes? Located less than a 10 minute drive from here is our very own local golf club.
But if you're looking for a relaxing holiday, this is just the place to stay. The peace and quiet on the hill will ensure you have a good night's rest to prepare you for the day ahead.
We offer you all the mod cons in a rustic environment. Wifi, TV/DVD player, kettle.
You may also enjoy your privacy. So you have your independent entrance to your side of the cabin, allowing you to come and go as you please.
If you're going green and leaving the car behind, just contact me. I'll be happy to provide you with a detailed description of how to get to the village via public transport and I can pick you up at the old station house.
Molt recomanable per a qui li agradi la tranquilitat, gaudir de bones vistes i bon tracte. Si us agrada conversar us recomanem aquest lloc, el Larry i la seua dona Nuria són encantadors i excelents conversadors. Sense dubte que repetirem l'experiència si tornem per Irlanda. L'habitació molt confortable i el bany molt gran i còmode. Està independent de la casa que et dóna molta llibertat, però que pots comptar amb ells sempre que ho necessites.
Our stay with Larry was very relaxing - he was an excellent host and very quick to respond to e-mails prior to the stay so we felt most welcome on arival.
Larry ensured we were comfortable and fully informed about the facilities in the beautiful nearby village of Carlingford. We were well set up for the rest of our visit to other areas in Ireland.
Larry's place was great! Excellent views over the entire area. Extremely quiet area, well kept property! Great decorations and book selections! 20-25 min walk to town or highly recommend renting bikes from OnYerBike, located on the same road just before you get to town. Highly recommend and hope we make it back soon!
Can't fault this gem on the hill above Carlingford, nor the fantastic owners. Due to a few problems with our ferry we arrived incredibly late (early hours of the morning) but they stayed up to welcome us and make sure we settled in okay which was so far beyond the call of duty and very much appreciated!
The cabin/ studio itself is great - you'd do well to add some photos of the inside! - and the view out of the window is really very nice. It's a nice walk along a country lane into Carlingford which is itself pretty and welcoming.
Back to the cabin, the bed was comfortable, the shower hot and powerful and the peace and quiet idyllic. If we didn't have so many other places on the list to tick off we'd be back next time!
PS, although we relied on Larry's directions, our Sat Nav did actually get the right place for any future visitors!
