From Paunch to Bluff, the road is unpaved and uneven, and after heavy rain it can become especially bumpy, muddy, and slow to navigate. For some guests, that sense of remoteness is part of the adventure; for others, it’s helpful to know in advance that this is not a smooth, resort-style access road. If you enjoy places that feel a little wilder and more off-grid, you’ll likely feel right at home here. Getting around is easiest with an ATV, motorbike, or car, though taxis and the public bus are also dependable options.
3. Secluded setting: Shops are in Bocas Town, and restaurants are within a short walk. If you plan to cook, we recommend stocking up in town before arrival. For your convenience, we can arrange a grocery pre-stocking service (for an additional fee) so your fridge is ready when you arrive.
