Maureen's home and hospitality were warm and welcoming. Her home is beautiful, just on the outskirts of the city, with parking and a lovely street of stores and restaurants nearby. Even though we came in much later than we expected to, she stayed up and greeted us with a huge smile and hugs. She gave us a comfortable bed, fluffy towels, and even cooked us french toast the next morning! We were overwhelmed by her warmth and will definitely stay with her next time we pass through. Would definitely recommend!
We enjoyed our stay, even though it was only one night. Our host was easy to talk to and friendly, but left us alone to do our own thing too. Her house is easy to find and homey. I think anyone would be comfortable staying there.
Mount Lebanon is such a nice part of Pittsburgh, and Maureen's place is the typical charming style home you find there, and also within walking distance of the best coffee shop in town! Her third floor suite is perfect for guests - I was very comfortable there. She is so charming and accommodating. She really went the extra mile for me as I had to depart very early, she had my requested breakfast ready to go before the crack of dawn. With pleasure I would stay at her place again!
hostess made us feel very welcome. room was very cozy; plenty of nice thick towels and plenty of shampoos, conditioners, hand cream etc. if you left something behind at home. sleeping was easy as the room was very quiet as was the neighborhood. breakfast was quite nice and she was very accommodating in making any style of eggs we wanted. coffee was wonderful and bottomless. location was near downtown in a close by bedroom suburb. we liked it so much that we will try to stay on our next visit to Pittsburgh.
Maureen made me feel welcome from the first moment. She knew a member of my family who lives nearby. I already was aware that it was a very nice neighborhood. Maureen and I share a life in classical music. So we had so much to talk about. Everything was clean and comfortable. The room is very private from the rest of the house. I would recommend this home and hostess to anyone.
This was my second time staying at Maureen's lovely home, which is an endorsement in itself - great room, perfect privacy, like being at home. Maureen is the perfect host, and as outstanding cook.
Very welcoming. Very clean and comfortable room on third floor with private bathroom. Very nice neighborhood!

I am an outgoing and optimistic individual. I have a masters degree in Oboe Performance from Rice University. I am no longer playing professionally but music still fills my soul and I frequent many of the performances of live music Pittsburgh has to offer, especially jazz and The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. I enjoy a good glass of wine while to listening to jazz and conversation at the local coffee shop.
I am from a large family and have 2 wonderful adult children.
After being a lifelong photo buff, I started my own business - Maureen Patrice Photography. My work is mainly people and events and i also carry a line of Pittsburgh and nature photo note cards and prints.
I have traveled a fair amount - Ireland, British Isles, Germany, Italy, Canada, Mexico, and throughout much of the United States. My favorite trip was my most recent to Tanzania were I went on Safari to Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. The trip was amazing, the people were wonderful, and I saw so many animals.
I love to cook and am happy to accommodate special dietary needs.
I try to live my life treating others as I would like to be treated. I am thrilled to be on airbnb and I look forward to meeting new people.
