Nestled beneath the sierra trees, high up on a mountain, serene and peaceful, this luxurious mountain home is where the wild things are; the deer, the raccoons, and squirrels. Situated on over an acre of land, this mountain getaway boasts unobstructed panoramic lake and mountain views. Perfect for a relaxing getaway with the family, friends or that special someone!

The space
The space is true weekend getaway home with comfortable and polished amenities like a full kitchen, Wi-Fi, 70" Smart TV, great insulation, and a master suite complete with a soaking tub. Step outside into in the real woods on top of a mountain with views of the valley and Lake Isabella. The stillness is so relaxing. Read a good book while sitting on the massive front or back decks. Enjoy family games or movies in the large family room. This home is well insulated and cozy. Enjoy meals at one of three indoor or outdoor dining tables where you can watch the shadows of evening soften and silence the forest. Get lost in the night sky under planetarium style bright stars unobstructed by your typical city lights. The bedrooms are comfortable and relaxing. Kern River Outfitters is a top ranked white water rafting company located a short 5 minutes drive down the hill from the home and about a 10 minute drive to the town of Kernville where you can eat and drink at the new addition of Kern River Brewing Company. About a 40 min drive further up the road from Kernville, you can find the "Trail of 100 Giants" which contains some of the world's largest and oldest Sequoia trees. During the winter, enjoy a quick 10 min drive to Shirley Meadows Ski Resort and the village of Alta Sierra.

I am a native Southern Californian originally from Los Angeles and of Greek decent. I studied Civil Engineering at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and currently work in commercial real estate development in Orange County. I have traveled to 13 countries and 31 states and counting. I love all things food, especially anything spicy or with avocado in it and all things real estate. I enjoy meeting people from all over the world and always entertained by a good story and understanding different perspectives. I enjoy spending time outdoors, fishing, volleyball, bodysurfing or destroying opponents in smash ball on the beach. My family has been visiting the Kern River Valley since we were kids so I am very familiar with the area.
