  • We used a driver arranged through Alexandra, who was waiting at the airport when we arrived. Even though we arrived in Bali about 2 hours late due to a flight delay, Alexandra's husband, Nick, was patiently waiting at the villa upon our arrival. Nick walked us through the property, and gave us his personal number in case of any problems.

The villa is exactly how it looks in the pictures. It is a little outdated, but the location of the property more than makes up for it. Just a few minutes walk to Oberoi, and there is a MiniMart next door that is open 24 hours.

The water stopped working on our third night, and we immediately contacted Nick. This happened before dinner, and by the time we had returned home the problem was resolved.

Alexandra was also very accommodating for special requests. Our flight home was at 9PM, and Alexandra allowed us a late check-out time of 6PM!

  • Wonderful house in a great location. Easy walk to beach and main food/shopping street. The pool was perfect. The owner/host was attentive and accommodating.

  • Stayed March7-11. Great location, clean villa,VERY spacious and the pool was great to cool off in. It can get very noisy at night and during the day with traffic. Bats do fly in and around the garden area and actually came into our sitting area! very funny! Otherwise great place for the price!

  • We stayed at the villa (3 nights) Feb.8-11 2014. Following are our feedback:
    1) Location: very good
    2) Facilities: clean, average, basic & a bit outdated. wi-fi is slow & not regular.
    3) Service: fast, we had problem with hot water and AC but it was fixed the same day.
    4) Price/Quality: average.

  • Alex is a very good host. I met with Nic instead as we arrived very late on the day of check in. He went through very throughly about the villa and it was mostly clean and located in a good area.

My guests and I however did feel the place needed some refreshment because there's not much storage in a very sparse big room, and that we didn't carry any luggage, just back-packs..we didn't see any hooks to hang our items.

Place is very clean, but 3 unfortunate incidents happened during our short stay. One was that due to the rain, my mom and I were on the ground floor bedroom and after about 30mins of heavy raining, water would seep into the villa living room and continued to flow into our bedroom. It made the floor slippery and we couldn't walk around barefoot due to the wet floor. The kitchen was drenched due to the water dispenser leaking, so that made the kitchen unappealing to use and we ended up buying our own water since the drinking water was used up by the kitchen floor and counter. Lastly, we experience a full power shortage at midnight that continued all through the morning. It wasn't pleasant as my mom was alone in the villa, with no electricity, hot water, lights or air conditioning. Opening windows and doors to allow air in also meant the mozzies got in =( After we came back at 2am to find out what happened, my friend only managed to sleep at 6am in the morning and we had to leave at 930am for a day trip. Ended up being a tiring day as we had no secondary generator or torch lights that we were aware of to use.

Other than that the airport transfer that was arranged was flawless.

As much as I loved the location, I do think I'd get a better value at another villa or hotel with the price and on-site service considering the unpleasantries, but could be just us that encountered these things. Oh well =)

  • Alex's villa was perfect. Ideal location, great swimming pool, air conditioning in the bedrooms - the list goes on!

The kitchen is simple but that's all you need when staying in Seminyak. There are plates and cutlery for making your own breakfast but for other meals top restaurants and small cafes are only 5 minutes walk.

Thanks for allowing me to check in at 9 am. It allowed me to rest after the overnight flight.

Excellent villa, top location. Highly recommend!

  • Had a great stay at this villa! Alex and her Nick were great! 10/10

  • Really fantastic location - you are right in the heart of Seminyak with everything super accessible by foot. The pool was a great place to chill as was the open air lounge. Comfortable king size beds and air conditioning in the bedrooms made for a good nights sleep. The kitchen is pretty basic but with Eat Street a 1 minute walk away why bother cooking. We were there over the crazy Xmas/NY period and the street noise could get pretty loud at times, however after the crowds had left it was much quieter. The girls who come every day to clean were delightful. Exceptional value for money and we would definitely stay here again.

  • Not worth the price.
The street leading to the house is too narrow for a car to pass (we rented a daihatsu terios). The garden is a mess. Power kept cutting all the time and furniture is minimal. Spacious though. Maids were friendly.
