A light garden house, with an en-suite private bathroom for people who both love cities and nature. It is situated on top of a colorful and bountiful garden, which is my biggest pride and passion. Only a 10 minute bike ride from the citycenter.
I live in a lovely, quiet, neighborhood, close to the city center. My garden is very big and it's terraces are sunny and secluded from the cold winds, which spring sometimes brings to the Netherlands. I grow my own vegetables and could tell you anything about (organic) gardening/farming.
The garden house itself (which is separate from my house) is situated on top of the garden, with an access to the main terrace. It is fairly spacious and it includes a private en-suite bathroom (shower+toilet). Heating, and a big blanket will keep you warm and cosy during cold days. Fresh linen and the smell of flowers coming through the windows will keep you comfortable during summer. All in all a perfect place to come to peace and enjoy the city and it's outskirts with comfort.
- A private en-suite bathroom
- A double bed
- Linen (incl. towels)
- The garden
- Ironing facilities
- Guests can also make use of the kitchen and the main living area.
Interaction with guests
I work fairly irregularly, but I am mostly there during the evenings (and regularly also during the day). I would love to share conversations with my guests; it is my motivation to open my houses to airbnb people. Often, my husband will be there too, for both conversations and the hosting.
Other things to note
You can order a big and healthy breakfast (that typically includes bread rolls, fresh juice, and yoghurt), that can be adapted to your liking for the fee of € 8,50 per person
No smoking in the house.

I am a middle aged woman who loves to travel with the aim to learn more from other countries and the people who live there. I love culture. In my spare time, I love making ceramics or making statues of iron. In addition, I play theatre and I am involved in a group that is working on making our neighborhood greener by means of urban agriculture, solar panels, etc.
I have 3 grown-up children, and a husband who I love to travel with.
