The space

Lovely, double-bedroom in a two-bedroom shared apartment. Towels, linens, coffee and tea provided. The apartment is recently updated with a new mattress and linens - providing a great night's sleep. There's a large wardroom in the room for all belongings, as well as bedside table and great lighting options in the room. There's also an iron and ironing board, large mirror and fast and reliable WiFi.

Feel free to use the kitchen to prepare a light breakfast, or use the fridge to store snacks, drinks, etc...

Shared bathroom with bathtub and electric shower, cleaned daily.

The apartment is shared with my girlfriend and I; however, most of the time you'll just be sharing with me.

The apartment is and cute and cozy, however, the rest of the apartment aside from the bedrooms is fairly standard size - so there is just one shared living space with a kitchen, living room, dining room. I'm often out or at work - either way, you’re welcome to enjoy the common space with us, too! We're happy to spend time with guests - have a coffee or beer - or let them relax on their own. This space would likely work best for those who want to be out sightseeing and enjoying everything this wonderful city has to offer.

Guest access

Guests are welcome to share the common spaces with us if they wish, or rest comfortably on their own. Bathroom is shared and cleaned daily.

Interaction with guests

If I'm available, I'll happily come meet you at the Parnell Bus Station (Main Bus station in Cork City Centre) or at the Cork Kent Railway Station. Both are just a short 5 minute walk away - and walk you back to the apartment.

The neighborhood

The apartment is perfectly located on the north-side of the river, just a short 5-minute walk into the city centre and St.Patrick's street, as well as Oliver Plunkett Street and the English Market. Cork is such a quaint, walkable city that you'll be able to get anywhere you need to be in minutes - it's the perfect location and there's loads of good pubs and restaurants just down the way.

Getting around

The location is fantastic for anywhere you're planning to travel to. Both Parnell Bus Station (Main Bus station in Cork City Centre) and the Cork Kent Railway Station are both a short 5-minute walk away. You can catch a bus to from the Airport directly to Parnell Station and make the short walk from there. Vice versa, you can also catch the bus directly to the airport (€5.60 one-way, per person). Or a cab is a 15-minute journey (around € 14-16).

You can catch pretty much any bus from Parnell Station, both inner-city as well as to the suburbs or surrounding communities. Kent Train station is a hub for Intercity services to Dublin and Tralee and commuter services to Mallow, Cobh and Midleton.

Other things to note

We don't provide breakfast, but please feel free to help yourself to coffee and tea. Or feel free to use the toaster/microwave, fridge or whatever you need. I'm always around to answer questions or ensure you're having a good stay. Just ask if you need help with anything.

As well, the apartment is located up a short, but steep hill. If you have problems with mobility then it will likely pose a challenge for you.
