Large one bedroom open concept loft in Old Montreal. The loft is in a historic landmark building from 1860 that has been refurbished into luxury lofts with top standards. It's 12 foot ceilings, exposed brick walls & arched floor to ceiling windows give it much coveted cachet.
The modern kitchen is fully stocked with coffee maker, dishwasher and everything required to bring out your inner chef. The house is equipped for entertainment with a 46 inch flat screen TV with a Blueray player and Netflix. In addition, in-ceiling speakers allows for seamless music listening throughout the house (even in the bathroom while relaxing in the bath tub).
A fake fireplace will help keep you cozy and warm in the cold winter nights, but don't worry we also have central heating system and A/C for the summer heat.
The automated dimmable lighting system provides the right mood at the right time. The bedroom is semi-private from the main loft area and includes a walk-in closet.
The bathroom includes a separate bath tub and shower. A washer/dryer set is also available in the unit.
This loft puts you in the middle of the European style cobble streets of Old Montreal. This area is the heart of the cultural heritage of Montreal, so you won't be surprised when you see gas lanterns or horse carriages rolling down the streets. The area boasts some of the best eateries in the city along with a vibrant night life. Boutique shops, luxury hotels and art galeries fill the surrounding streets for your viewing and shopping pleasure. Montreal in general, specially Old Montreal is rife with festivals and events during both summer and winter. Many landmarks are walking distance such as the Notre-Dame cathedral, the Old Port & place Jacques Cartier.
For the business traveler, the main conference center (Palais des
Congres) is two blocks north and most of downtown's main corporate offices are within walking distance (Rene-Levesque street).
The metro and underground city are one block away, McGill street is full of taxis and there is a Bixi rent-a-bike rack 2 steps from the building. So whether you are here in winter or summer, you should have no trouble easily getting to your destinations.
