Large one bedroom open concept loft in Old Montreal. The loft is in a historic landmark building from 1860 that has been refurbished into luxury lofts with top standards. It's 12 foot ceilings, exposed brick walls & arched floor to ceiling windows give it much coveted cachet.
The modern kitchen is fully stocked with coffee maker, dishwasher and everything required to bring out your inner chef. The house is equipped for entertainment with a 46 inch flat screen TV with a Blueray player and Netflix. In addition, in-ceiling speakers allows for seamless music listening throughout the house (even in the bathroom while relaxing in the bath tub).
A fake fireplace will help keep you cozy and warm in the cold winter nights, but don't worry we also have central heating system and A/C for the summer heat.
The automated dimmable lighting system provides the right mood at the right time. The bedroom is semi-private from the main loft area and includes a walk-in closet.
The bathroom includes a separate bath tub and shower. A washer/dryer set is also available in the unit.
This loft puts you in the middle of the European style cobble streets of Old Montreal. This area is the heart of the cultural heritage of Montreal, so you won't be surprised when you see gas lanterns or horse carriages rolling down the streets. The area boasts some of the best eateries in the city along with a vibrant night life. Boutique shops, luxury hotels and art galeries fill the surrounding streets for your viewing and shopping pleasure. Montreal in general, specially Old Montreal is rife with festivals and events during both summer and winter. Many landmarks are walking distance such as the Notre-Dame cathedral, the Old Port & place Jacques Cartier.
For the business traveler, the main conference center (Palais des
Congres) is two blocks north and most of downtown's main corporate offices are within walking distance (Rene-Levesque street).
The metro and underground city are one block away, McGill street is full of taxis and there is a Bixi rent-a-bike rack 2 steps from the building. So whether you are here in winter or summer, you should have no trouble easily getting to your destinations.

This is definitely not the party pad.
Reasonable noise level after 10PM or our neighbors will complain.
Leave the place as you found it.
We arrived earlier than check in and our hosts accommodated our early arrival. Upon initially walking in we felt it was smaller than photos on Airbnb made it look. Yet we quickly found the space to be more than adequate. Loved the comfortable sitting area and the free wifi/sound system was great. We never really cooked a meal in but had lots of wine and snacks while resting after touring the area all day and before going out in the evening. The kitchen would be more than suitable for cooking a meal if you chose to do so. I needed a hair dryer and texted owners to see if there was one in loft. I offered to buy one but Within 30 min one was delivered to our door! Free Netflix was nice too and we actually watched 2 movies-which we never do! By Sunday afternoon after 3 days of touring the city by bike, metro, bus and walking we were happy to just relax in the space and it was perfect for that!
The apt. is fabulous and clean. Like some others, we had some pre-arrival communication glitches but once we got connected, it was smooth sailing. Philippe went out of his way to replace his non-working TV monitor, and suggested some of his fave spots to eat.
The surround sound in the place is deluxe, and the location is quiet and stocked with everything we needed for our week-long stay. The shower and tub are fantastic, as were the dimming lights.
Our only suggestion would be to add some drapes to the loft area to keep the AM lights out while we adjusted to MTL time. Otherwise, highly recommended!
This apartment is truly amazing! It is just as good as it looks in the pictures--spacious living room and kitchen, lofted bedroom, and a big bathroom. Checking in was really easy. Nadim texted me to give me all the information before we arrived, so it was effortless. The apartment is on the edge of Old Montreal, which was perfect. Everything was in a walking distance but we were in a more quiet area. Two restaurants, Helena and Olive and Gourmando, were our favorites in Montreal and super close to the apartment. The only downsides to the apartment are the parking situation (but that will be a problem anywhere in this neighborhood) and the additional $80 cleaning fee for the apartment (we missed that in the fine print when we booked the apartment). Overall, a wonderful place to stay!
This was a great place to stay. The loft was really good from a design point of view and had a lot of atmosphere. Also, the location was really close to the historical center of Montreal as well as the harbor. The loft itself was well equipped with everything you need. We were well briefed and also got a lot of good advice about the restaurants in town, too. Would come back any day ;) Thanks guys.
The only drawback would be the parking situation with the complicated rules that apply in the city center. But that goes for everybody with a car there, I guess.
The loft was amazing! Pictures do not do it justice. Bedroom and bathroom were nicely sized and the bathroom has a full sized tub and separate shower space - very roomy! Location was great - everything we needed was within walking distance. Upon arrival, checking in and getting keys was easy and seamless. Getting in contact with Nadim was just a matter of a phone call or email which was super convenient. We were informed that the dishwasher was broken which isn't a big deal since we only used a few glasses and dishes that could easily be washed by hand. Overall a great place to stay when visiting Montreal!

I love living on the beach, surfing, running, biking, rollerblading, skateboarding, doing yoga, meditating, reading, and of course traveling.
The most important thing to me when I meet people is to know that their are authentic human beings. If you are one.... I hope to meet you soon!
