The Space

This upstairs suite is located on a shared three acre property in a beautiful garden setting. Includes mini-kitchenette, living/dining area and indoor bathroom with shower. The accommodation has it's own wifi internet and includes Hawaiian style self-catered continental breakfast is included. Private entrance near parking area. King size real bed. You will be completely surrounded by the beauty of nature! This is located in an actual rainforest with gorgeous trees everywhere. This is also a working organic permaculture farm, so some of the fruits served are grown on the property, nourished by the friendly farm animals (a miniature donkey and his best friend the goat, some boutique chickens, dwarf and angora bunnies, friendly cats and an adorable little dog!) The sounds of the rainforest can be loud in the evening, but we will provide earplugs if you need them!

Prepare yourself for an amazing experience with nature. We are a short drive to some nice restaurants in Pahoa or Keaau. There are rugged beaches nearby and we are just a short drive to the warm pools, waterfalls, and the volcanoes national park. Be ready for an exciting time when visiting here, you will be in the perfect spot for exploring this unique side of the island!

  • I had the greatest time here. First of all, what a cool experience. If you are into lush rainforests, organic fruits/veggies/nuts growing on-site, and stellar landscaping - than this is your place. The room is very very nice and the property is super cool. The donkey, Mocha, is fun to see work his magic and the house puppy is really cute. Meanwhile, Sherry is a great host who gave me a very thorough intro to organic farming and a lot of encouragement to get starred myself. Highly recommend this place. NOTE - be sure to follow Sherry'a directions here and NOT (website hidden)/apple maps. Your tires will thank you!

I wish you lots of luck with your own farming future, and don't hesitate to let me know if you need any info. to get you started with your first plantings, or if you need me to send you some seeds. Next time I hope you can stay longer!
